I learned today that March Fourth is National Marching Music Day! Most American band students start marching band their freshman year of high-school, some even in middle-school, but hey it’s never too late. Joining marching band in my freshman year of college was without of doubt one of the best opportunities I’ve ever had. The friends, experiences, and leadership inspired me every day of fall semester to try new things and to grow as a person and musician. Sure, I have to bear the title of band kid forever now, but looking back, it’s completely worth it. Thank you @bgsufalconmarchingband @bgsu_falcon_drumline and @bgsu_falcon_cymbals for setting the tone for a great freshman year. I will forever be both grateful for the opportunity, and will cherish the memories I made. I absolutely cannot wait for the season ahead and to be a part of the new shows, experiences, and friendships. Go Falcons!!!! taken in Bowling Green State University by @thetrentfries

SONIC TEMPLE 2023!!! I strongly recommend going to a four day music festival immediately following high school graduation 😉 Truly unreal. I am so very glad for the opportunity to see some of my absolute favorite bands one after another, and stumbling upon some new favorites as well. I’ve wanted to see bands including @toolmusic @avengedsevenfold @foofighters for years now and I couldn’t be more thankful for both @sonictemplefestival & my buddies for such a great first festival experience!! Side note, give your phone to somebody BEFORE you crowd surf, because it will indeed fall out of your pocket… Without a doubt we’ll be back next year 🫡🤟 taken in Historic Crew Stadium by @thetrentfries

Okay so I’m definitely a little late to the posting party, but nonetheless, it’s as if I turned 18 and suddenly I was thrown into 1956… what they’re saying is true, Grease is the word. I could not be more thankful to have been a part of Grease my senior year, man what a show. Between the director(s), cast, tech, set builders, and all other contributors, I could not be more grateful for the opportunity and experience that I had with this production. Thank you to absolutely anybody and everybody involved in this show, I know that I will cherish these memories for my entire life, and remember the many great relationships that came from this show. Thanks again everyone :)) taken in John Legend Theater by @thetrentfries

Honestly sire, three days in a row we performed, and here I am, one week later, struggling to accept that I’m officially a theatre kid. There are no words I can muster to express my deep appreciation for this entire program. Over these last four months, I’ve had the pleasure of building numerous relationships with the wonderful cast and adept technicians, all of whom were essential to putting on this truly incredible show. This experience was absolutely nothing short of an adventure with value unmatched. I love and thank everybody involved with the show, cast and audience. I can’t wait for next year! :) by @thetrentfries
