Always a blast capturing these guys—Mike Trujillo is one of my best buds, and watching this project evolve has been special from the jump.
This band is in a transition moment: new energy, a new chapter, and soon a new name that better matches the sound and vibe they’re building.
Shoutout to Greg (@gregjr22_lostboy ) holding it down on drums—welcome to the fold 🥁🔥
Big things coming. Keep your eyes (and ears) open.

The Trujillo Company – Show Promo (Filmed at The Whisk(e)y, Fort Collins CO)

The Trujillo Company @thetrujilloco has been a huge part of our journey in music and media, connecting us with incredible opportunities and artists like Keanu Reeves’ band Dogstar @dogstarband , Alien Ant Farm @alienantfarmofficial , The Glorious Sons , and many others. Frontman Mike Trujillo even inspired us to branch our work into sports camera operations.

This promo was filmed at The Whisk(e)y during the FOCO MX Music Festival @focomx and created to advertise their upcoming show at the Outlaw Saloon in Cheyenne @outlawsaloon .

We took audio from the band, added it to our video edit, and paired one of their recorded tracks over performance footage for the final promo. The result was a stadium-level advertisement that helped grow their audience, increase show attendance, strengthen their community, and even catch the attention of a talent buyer looking for new music.

THE TRUJILLO COMPANY - HI DIVE - 06/28/25

It was somehow my first time ever seeing Trujillo Co. despite being well aware of them for years now. With a killer stage presence and a dialed-in, straightforward, and quintessentially Denver rock n’ roll sound, the trio was an excellent segue between Porlolo and Anthony Ruptak.
Of particular enjoyment to me was the track I’ve included on this post, “Down Below”. This song gave me inklings of Pixies, Failure, Hum, and even a little bit of (pre-“Maladroit”) Weezer. These guys run the rock gamut as their sound really ranges from something psychy/deserty like QotSA all the way to a real Pacific NW early grunge vibe which all includes some seriously excellent, fast and loose guitar playing. Like I said, quintessentially Denver.
