The Fall SushimeRolln SD X Shogun Sportfishing Pole to Roll Trip was one for the books! We fished way out west and plucked away at beautiful grade BFT and YFT during the day and chased jumbo models at night. Thanks to Michael Friedrich and the Shogun Crew for all their hardwork. Looking forward to next year🤙

The 2026 Pelagic California Tuna Challenge is in the books! Can't say enough amazing things about the team at Pelagic , they put on a first class tournament down to every detail. After chasing that podium pic with the big check for so many years, I finally got it with the help of Team Tuna Chef - John Onodera and Graham Gilles. Congratulations to Team Reel Housewives on their big win!See you next year🤙

The 6th annual California Concrete Plus/Tuna Chef Trip aboard the Liberty is in the books! We had a great trip even though the conditions were tough. We put some good grade Yellowtail and a beautiful Dorado on the deck and had an epic time thanks to Captain Taro and the crew. Finished the trip off proper with a Handroll & Sashimi spread by Chef Michael Friedrich and Chef Marlon. A very special thank you to Irvin Diaz and California Concrete Plus for sponsoring our trip. An Epic day and a half of fishing! Thank you so much @thetunachefbryan and all of your sponsors for having me. Such an incredible team and amazing people. I gained so much knowledge and much more confidence during this trip. Truly unforgettable. I am so grateful for this opportunity! Hope to be invited on the next and catch a BIG ONE 🔥🙌🎣 Much Love! by @thetunachefbryan

The sushi community lost someone very special in Chef Andy Matsuda. To say he changed my life would be an understatement. So many people in my life today that I call dear friends are because I decided to attend the Sushi Chef Institute back in 2021. I'm forever grateful to my Sensei, 安らかに眠る🙏 by @thetunachefbryan

Epic trip to Florida for us! We started our adventure in Orlando where we got to experience an incredible Omakase at Soseki with Chef Mike Collantes and fulfill a lifelong dream of visiting the Kennedy Space Center. We then headed to St. Petersburg where we stayed at the Don Cesar, went Tarpon fishing with Captain Tyler Kapela and had an amazing dinner at Charley's! We finished off the trip in Miami at the Fontainebleau, had the best tacos ever at our friend Chef Scott Linquist's spot Coyo Taco, I fished a tournament in West Palm Beach with my friends Allison and Charlie, Mother's Day Brunch at Los Fuegos by Chef Francis Mallmann and of course visited Ichimora in Ft. Lauderdale with our dear friends Chef Hiro Terada and Charles Preston. Can't wait to go back!
