Finally got to see Dethklok live and it was incredible! Brendan Small and company were incredible, so happy I finally got to see this silly band I’ve been a fan of since watching metalocalypse as a teenager! Amon amarth killed it as always, they’re incapable of putting on a bad show! Castle Rat was really good too, definitely gonna have to check them out some more, was really impressed! Amonklok was a great time, hope to get to see Dethklok again soon! by @thetylertownsend

Seriously one of the coolest cities I’ve ever been to, Chicago was so much fun and so different from what I expected in the best ways possible. The history, the architecture, the food… man what a cool place. Also shout out for having incredible public transit, the train was so convenient and Chicago dogs might be the best creation on the planet. by @thetylertownsend

My legs feel like they were ran over, I lost my voice, got a gnarly sunburn, paid way too much for food and drink, and had to drive 6 hours to see them but when SLAYER COMES OUT OF RETIREMENT YOU DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO!!! 6th and likely last time seeing slayer (I’ve said that before, 3 times now lol) and first time in 6 years. Even though they aren’t playing and touring like they used too they still sound as good as any other time I’ve seen them. They fucking killed it. Had an incredible weekend in LA. So lucky that I got to pay my respects to two of the biggest and most important figures in metal history. Was very humbling to get to see ozzy’s star and memorial and to visit Lemmy’s statue at the rainbow bar and grill. Incredible food there btw, highly recommend if you’re ever in LA. Finished off the trip by seeing Wallows and My chemical Romance put on incredible shows! Oh and also went to the beach and the Santa Monica pier which was also pretty cool! by @thetylertownsend
