Thank you so much to the incredible team and cast of Spring Awakening and letting me check this dream off my list.
Thank you to the Cast for letting me support their immense talents with these terrifying Men I played each night and for letting me be a goofball to balance the terror.
Thank you to @zachstolz for the trust to play in the sandbox of all these different characters so I could make people feel "Icky emotions" as I was told after several performances.
@kt_bergs, thank you for the music and directing our voices to another beautiful sound
@thealexself, thank you for giving us movements and dance that helped us express all our feelings during this show
@delaneycirce, thank you for taking such care with us as we worked on this beast and digging into those emotional and physical uncomfortable areas.
Thank you to every single person that helped make this show the dream I never thought I could be in.
And thank you to those that came and saw and experienced us.

How it started and how it ended. 13 years ago I drove away with the little Soul that did everything. Took me across the country several times and through so many memories. Today I said goodbye to Carshmellow, and thank you for so many memories. by @thetyrawlins

Today was the day I put another history book of a show on the shelf.
Mamma Mia! closed and I hung up my disco suit one last time and said farewell to the Happy Wanderer, Bill Austin. It was a show about found family, but with a new found family of incredible actors and new friends.
Thank you again to everyone that saw us have fun and thank you to the wonderful people I spent three months in Greece with.

Closing weekend is approaching tomorrow for #mammamia at @woodstockgaarts!

I was so nervous taking on a musical again after 20 years, but this was such a FUN experience with an absolutely amazing cast.
It was a delight to bring Bill to life and create him with so much freedom from our director (@zachstolz).
Here is a sample of the inspirations I drew from for the intrepid traveler. The smoldering sex appeal of Michael Douglas in Romancing the Stone, Kirk Fogg's adventuring positive spirit, Hugh's Australian presence in Boy From Oz, and the goofiness of Alexander in Zoolander...the son of the another Mamma Mia's Bill, Stellan Skarsgård.
Also I'm sharing the soundtrack in Bill's head playing on the way to the theatre as I got ready. A mix of Australian staples, fun beats, a lot of Abba, and some Abba mixes from other genres.

There were so many more Easter Eggs I threw into the slice of beefcake, from the tattoo, the jewelry I wore each night, even the homage to our music director I snuck onto my back pack.

One last performance of The Foreigner. Sitting backstage, getting ready and reflecting on the amazing time I had with the @cherokeetheatre and bringing my own wild version of Charlie Baker. My first time on stage in over a decade and it was just a hilarious opportunity. Thank you to my fellow cast members, the crew, and everyone that laughed and loved us at @historiccantontheatre.

Next stop, Mamma Mia in May with @woodstockgaarts.

"It's the day of the show y'all"
The Foreigner opens tonight at the @historiccantontheatre, presented by @cherokeetheatre.
Its been an absolute pleasure being part of this show, my first in 15 years, and I wanted to share a little peek into my creation of Charlie for this show. These were some of my starting ideas and inspirations for costuming, physicality, and the fake accent Charlie hides behind.

The costuming was mostly just my own work with generative AI and came up with some good feels and ideas that carry over into the show. Got to try out some poses and generated the costume ideas on my photos for the work.
The physicality is a little bit of everything in this production, so if it looks like a bunch of random ideas...they do show up (Yes, ALL multiplicity clones were an inspiration).

Finally, Charlie's fake accent he has to come up with was something I have seen done in a few ways, but I wanted to blend, splice, and Frankenstein from an assortment of ideas and characters into a pot-luck of character comedy.

Is this everything? No (or 'blit' in Charlie's "native tongue"). Come check out the other surprises and the hard work everyone has put into this.
