We’re very pleased to announce you can now apply for The Main Stage Mini through our website. This experience is sponsored by Roland, and the lucky Minis selected to perform will be playing on the NEW VAD316 electronic drum kit.

@pauledrums looking forward to @theukdrumshow 2026!!! I'll have my same booth space in the lobby (L1) as I've had the past 4 years and this year I'll also be supporting @alderhey_inspired music programs. Alder Hey is an amazing children's hospital that saves lives of Liverpool children and children from all over the UK. They will have a table with information and also taking donations. On top of that we will be hosting a charity fundraiser at @artsbarbaltic after the Drum Show on Sunday the 26th from 7-10pm with live music from special guests, a silent auction, a raffle, and much more. I'm currently looking for volunteers, artists, auction items, and a poster artist to create a collectable poster for the event. DM if you want to help out or donate for the auction or raffle.

⚠️MAIN STAGE MINI ANNOUNCEMENT⚠️

Thomas Ockenden to perform on Main Stage Mini on Saturday 24th October at 13:25! 🥁

'I am Thomas Ockenden, and I am a new coming drummer based in the UK. I started playing drums at 9 years old and I’m completely self taught, and I’ve never had a drum lesson in my life.

I was inspired by watching the great drummers my parents have worked with, whilst I used to go round with them as a small child when they were on tour, plus all the great jazz/funk and R’n’B drummers that were on the songs we listened to in the car.

One day I thought I’d give it a shot on the kit we had set up in our studio, and I’ve never looked back since. In the time that I've played, I have achieved the title of a Top 10 Finalist in Zildjian Young Drummer of the Year 2026, I have worked alongside and received support from Blue, Sam Ryder, Ash Soan, The Script, Jess Glynne, Tower of Power and Shakatak, and I record material for BBC/CTVC.

I am currently busy on the festival circuit, headlining major UK country festivals, been booked to host drum clinics/masterclasses at The Drum Hang and Dorset Drum Festival, along with professional high level corporate function work. I currently receive active support from Sonor Drums, Pellwood Drumsticks, Bonham Drumheads, Zildjian and Vic Firth.'

🥁MAIN STAGE MINI ANNOUNCEMENT!🥁

Isaac Ferri will be performing on Sunday 25th October at 13:25!

Isaac started playing drums at the age of 11, studying Trinity Rock & Pop exams which has given him the skills and ability to various genres. He completed his Grade 7 at the age of 16, passing with a Merit. Since he could speak, Isaac has always been drawn to the drums and always had a love for music.

You may have seen him play at venues in his home city, Cambridge, such as The Cambridge Junction, The Portland Arms, The Grande Arcade, Christ's Pieces, Market Square. Playing in these spaces has allowed Isaac to gain experience in professional environments.

His biggest influences are Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers and ii of Sleep Token. He blends many different genres in his playing such as funk, metal, hip hop, pop and rock.

Whilst he is still young, don't underestimate the determination and passion in his playing. He is always striving to achieve the best sound and highest quality of work so he can achieve his goals of becoming a studio and touring session drummer.

Alex Ranaldo will be performing on Main Stage Mini on Saturday the 24th October at 15:05! 🔥

Alex Ranaldo is a young drumming prodigy, born with rhythm and music in his veins. He began playing the drums at just two years old, and by six, he was already performing on major stages, displaying an exceptional mastery and natural connection with the instrument well beyond his years.

Now 18, Alex is in his fourth year at the Music High School and his second year at the Conservatory, where he is majoring in Jazz Drums. Since 2013, he has studied under Maestro Alessandro Napolitano, earning a Diploma in Modern Drums from the London College of Music in London.

With more than 600 live performances across Italy and Europe, Alex has shared the stage with prominent national and international artists. He has been featured at major events such as the Sofia Drum Fest, where he performed alongside Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, and Drum 200, where his technical brilliance and stage charisma drew praise from legendary drummer Dave Weckl.

Alex’s extraordinary talent has been recognized in numerous national and international competitions, where he has achieved over 20 first-place awards. In 2020, he earned the title of Best Drummer in the World (Junior Category) at the Drum Off Global competition in Canada, and was named Italian Ambassador to the World – Music Category. The following year, he won the Tour Music Fest in San Marino.

A dynamic fusion drummer with exceptional versatility, Alex seamlessly transitions between pop, rock, and jazz styles, blending technique, groove, and artistic sensitivity into a distinctive and mature musical expression.

Today, Alex Ranaldo stands out as one of the youngest and most promising drummers in Italy- an artist driven by passion, energy, and unwavering dedication to his craft.

🐩DRUM DOG EXPERIENCE ROOM ANNOUNCEMENT!🐩

Colin Woolway to perform in the Drum Dog Experience Room on Sunday 25th October at 17:00!

Colin has been playing and teaching professionally since 1976, and in that time he has done every kind of gig going: theatre pit work, jazz residencies, cabaret and variety shows, eight years with rock’n’roll icon Suzi Quatro, and everything from stadium tours in front of 30,000 people to scout huts and muddy gardens. You name it, he has played it.

These days he is best known as the founder of the Drumsense teaching programme and the author of the Drumsense books and DVDs, having also written monthly columns for Rhythm magazine for over 20 years. He currently teaches at studios in Twickenham, The Brit School, and East London Arts & Music (ELAM), and regularly presents clinics, masterclasses and lectures. He is a longtime endorser of the British Drum Company, Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, Remo heads, Bill Sanders practice pads and Roland electronic drums.

Ask what inspires him and the answer is simple: listening to other musicians, playing and talking, always learning something new from the music and the wisdom around it. His words of wisdom for the next generation come down to three: Listen. Concentrate. Persevere. LCP.

🔥MAIN STAGE MINI ANNOUNCEMENT🔥

When Blake was four years old, his world of drumming opened up unexpectedly. A family who were moving away randomly gave him a Nintendo Wii console that came with Guitar Hero. We later got him the Guitar Hero drum kit, and from that moment, he was hooked.

Blake had his first proper drum lessons at school when he was five years old. At six, he received his first electronic drum kit, a Roland TD-02. Drumming quickly became part of his daily routine. He would wake up early almost every morning to practise before even having breakfast. Several months later, we upgraded to a Roland TD-17KV2, and he began taking drum lessons outside of school. This was also when he started working towards his RSL graded exams.

Blake is now studying towards RSL Grade 6. His musical tastes have evolved as he has grown. He started with Green Day and Blink-182, then discovered Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Creed. Later, he became interested in bands such as The Cure, Toto and Rush. Today, his biggest passion is Slipknot. He looks up to Joey Jordison, Jay Weinberg and Eloy Casagrande, who continue to inspire him to improve as a drummer.

From time to time, Blake also performs at local music events, including ShyneFest Music Festival. He genuinely enjoys performing in front of a crowd and loves the excitement and energy of sharing music with an audience. He also takes every opportunity to perform at events organised by his music school. Through these experiences, drumming has helped him grow from a shy boy into a confident young performer who enjoys expressing himself on stage.

Outside of drumming, Blake enjoys playing Roblox, drawing and arts and crafts, building with LEGO, creating origami, and experimenting with Gravitrax. Despite his many interests, drumming remains his greatest passion. His dream is to one day have his own drum studio, an acoustic drum kit, and play in his own band.
We only discovered the UK Drum Show a couple of months ago, but Blake was immediately excited when he found out that Eloy Casagrande had attended the show previously.
