The new @theunclaimedband album “Never Said Goodbye” official release is October 11th on @outrorecords.us

The Unclaimed started life on the streets of L.A. in 1979. Their influence on the Garage Punk revival and the Paisley Underground is incomparable. The group still plays like they have something to prove… because maybe they do. This is the first Unclaimed album since the passing of the legendary front man, Shelley Ganz, but there was enough unreleased material spanning from their early years up to the ravers they were working on prior to his last days. The coolness that you’d expect is still there but this LP is surprisingly proper high energy! The Unclaimed are out of a cannon with this one and doin’ Shelley proud, I’m sure!

#garagepunk #portlandmusicscene #pnwmusic #theunclaimed #portlandevents A psychedelic concert poster promoting The Unclaimed live at Six Below Midnight in Portland on Saturday, August 8. The design features vivid retro colors—electric blues, saturated yellows, and hot pinks—arranged in swirling, 1960s‑inspired patterns reminiscent of vintage garage‑rock and proto‑punk poster art. Three silhouetted figures in suits and sunglasses stand at the center, evoking classic rock‑and‑roll cool and the underground California garage scene that shaped The Unclaimed’s legacy. Bold, distressed typography announces the lineup: CHEEX, Thee Only Living Boys, and Thee Day Walkers, all framed within a high‑energy, fuzz‑and‑fire aesthetic. Additional text lists venue details, ticket prices, and show times for Six Below Midnight at 3341 SE Belmont Street, Adults Only. The overall artwork blends psychedelic rock poster traditions, garage‑punk visual language, and Portland’s contemporary DIY music culture, creating a vibrant, archival‑style promotional image for a rare Northwest appearance by a legendary Los Angeles garage‑rock band. taken in The Midnight by @theunclaimedband
