Instead he ducked out minutes before his set to recruit members of Muddy Jewels and Salty Tenders to drop an unrehearsed set of mayhem and lunacy. Was it any good? Oh dear me no. Each one of @drunk_honey36 carry technical chops that add to the whole, none of the sound’s constituent parts stepping on each other. There’s clearly a LOT of love for the Chili Peppers here - the uber-version of individual band elements coming together - but there are worse examples to follow, and this project has both the skill and the songs to follow their own path. taken in The Vic on The Park by @theundergroundstage

@carnabucisband sings a fair few songs with food-related titles, which fits the impeccable balance the set rests on. Loud and quiet, light and heavy, rich and delicate - it rarely gets up above a walking pace but with ingredients this well-prepared, it doesn’t need speed to distract you from the flavour. taken in The Factory Theatre by @theundergroundstage
