Lebanon's first professional boxer isn't a name most people know.

Nadim Salloum made history in 2017 when he became the first boxer born and raised in Lebanon to turn professional.

He left university, sold his car, trained in Mexico and New York, and fought his way onto the international boxing stage while proudly carrying the Lebanese flag.

Today, he's a five-time Lebanese national champion and continues to represent Lebanon around the world.

Some of Lebanon's biggest success stories aren't hidden because they lack talent.

They're hidden because they never got the spotlight they deserved.

Competing in Iowa, USA, Lebanese professional boxer Nadim Salloum earned his 17th career victory, improving his record to 14–3 with seven knockouts as he continues his pursuit of becoming Lebanon’s first world champion.

After launching his professional career in Mexico in 2017, Salloum has spent the past eight years fighting across the United States. He is currently based in Brooklyn, New York, where he trains under coach Sosa, focused on climbing the rankings and moving closer to a world title opportunity.

Ranked among the top 15 percent of boxers worldwide, Salloum is targeting entry into the rankings of a major world boxing organization by 2026, with the goal of capturing his first professional title. He is signed with Times Square Boxing Management and trains at one of the most renowned boxing gyms in the United States.

What’s up y’all! It’s been a while! Life s been a little crazy lately lol.

I won’t be fighting again in 2026. It’s a personal decision I made to give myself some time to take care of my mental and physical health after spending a long time pushing myself through training camps and preparing for fights. That’s boxing, tho!

I’m back home now, enjoying some time with family, recharging and putting a lot of work into something new that I’m really excited about. Cant wait to share this next chapter soon!

God is good, my family and loved ones are doing well, thats what matters. Everything else is just another page in the book.

I’ll keep you guys posted on everything coming next. For now, we keep working, and hopefully 2027 starts the way I’ve been working so hard for it to.

Good morning, Lebanon 🇱🇧

We got the job done yesterday in Cleveland, Ohio 🇺🇸

Beautiful 8 rounds and a unanimous decision victory (80–72) after being out of the ring for 8 months. Happy I got some rounds in, and now I can rest for a couple of days before getting back at it and preparing for the next one. 💪🏼
