Iconic Prinsengracht Concert! 🎻✨

Feeling so lucky that I got to experience this beautiful tradition in Amsterdam. It happens only once a year, and they literally build a huge stage on the canal water!

People come with their own boats, float around and listen to the classical music, while thousands of others stand along the streets and bridges. The whole canal was just full of people, music and such a beautiful energy.

And somehow we managed to get a little space with a front view 😭

Also met some really lovely Dutch people there. I honestly don’t know why people say the Dutch are rude! Because I keep meeting such beautiful souls here!

Such a simple but unforgettable night. Music, boats, canals, random conversations with strangers… Amsterdam really has its moments! Truly!

And one thing I keep thinking since being here, Europeans really know how to enjoy life. ❤️

From a city full of chaos,
to the quiet shore of the sea,
to a land covered in snow,
to a city filled with flowers, food, and breathtaking views…

And now, once again,
packing my life into suitcases,
switching my PhD,
and preparing to call another place home.

To everyone else, it looks exciting
new countries, new cities, new adventures.

But when every new beginning means leaving your own people behind,
not for fun, but for education and a future you’re still trying to build…

it becomes overwhelming.

A strange mix of excitement, loneliness, gratitude, fear, hope, and homesickness.

Maybe some feelings are too complicated to have a name.
You just carry them with you
from one country to the next...
