There are so many reasons for hair loss…stress, hormonal shifts, weight loss, medical conditions…but the good news is that there are so many great effective treatments both prescription and OTC 🙌🏻 My personal cocktail includes @oribe Redensify (shampoo, conditioner and spray serum), oral minoxidil from @hers, and a bonus of Oribe’s newest super hero product…the Alchemy Bond Builder to keep my regrowth and older hair super strong. But how do you know if it’s working? Well…you sit in Gus’s chair and he does this little trick so you can see it with your own two eyes! So cool! If you want to have beautiful hair, plan on a little maintenance…not a ton…but some! That’s the cool thing about hair color and styling… we can really customize what we do to create something that is easy or at least reasonable for you to maintain…because if you can’t maintain it then what even is the point, right?

Here’s my routine…my regrowth needs attending to (🤣) about every 3 weeks. This is how we get rid of the gray and maintain my vanity…usually America does this for me and she is fantastic…she’s a calm, sweet soul who is a good listener and very much a perfectionist. Love that for my gray hair. America also usually does my weekly blowouts but I have sat in pretty much everyone’s chair and they are all fabulous 💯
Every 3-6 months I ask one of our color specialists to “move up” my balayage. This allows for a lived in look but keeps my overall appearance bright and not overly dimensional. Peyton did this for me most recently and I have gotten loads of compliments…literally any one of our stylists can do this perfectly (except for a couple who really specialize in cutting). Then, about every 2 months I ask one of our extensions specialists to reinstall or “move up” my extensions. Peyton usually does this for me because we need to catch up on life but also because she is fabulous at her job. Peyton specializes in the #waterfallbeadedrowextensions which means that she completely removes the hair and reinstalls it each time. I like this method because I find it lasts longer with my super fine hair. Many of our clients prefer the #bellami method which is cool because the specialist can just slide the extensions up 2-3 times before completely removing and reinstalling them. There are so many great ways to install extensions and we will find the one that suits you best.
I know that sounded like a lot of maintenance, and it’s possible that I have a higher commitment level than most 🤔, but it’s hard to argue with the results…plus I get to spend time with the best people along the way. 🫶🏻
