SYD ➡️ ADL 📍
Josh and I moved back to Adelaide 🥰

On the way I ticked off my Australia Bingo (last stop, Canberra) and have now been to every capital city/state and territory in Aus🙌🏼

Now I’ve lived in three states and visited the rest, here are some things about them all;
WA: The OG my hometown; best beaches in Australia, Margaret River is goated, plus obviously the home of Rottnest and the quokka. If you want the best ribs/halal food in the world hmu for recs
NT: Underrated beauty, balmy summer nights with a mojito 10/10, so many places to explore that you won’t find anywhere else in the world, feels like the outback (duh)
SA: Wine, wine, wiiiiiine darling - the vibe is correct. Hahndorf is just so beautiful I love it, plus we have Kangaroo Island which I’d highly recommend
QLD: QUEENSLANDERRRR, has the most rainforesty vibes of the states (up in North Queensland anyway), obviously has all the best theme parks.
NSW: in love with the Blue Mountains and the Royal National Park, a million and one things to do all the time (just be prepared to do those things with a million and one people)
ACT: super short trip but it was beautiful, drove past a vanishing lake that fills and drains with no outlet to the sea, went to a cool science place for kids but big kids (me) had fun too, lots to see if interested in politics and memorials for the ANZACs. Would LOVE to see a raiders game and do the Viking clap - wear all your warmest clothes
VIC: Dandenong Markets = best jam donuts in the world, most of my trips here have been specifically for family or auditions so I do admit to not having explored it loads. My childhood experience was based around mini golf and hot jam donuts and not much has changed
TAS: this place made me want to skinny dip, actually feels wild you do feel secluded from the rest of the world and it is NICE. They have some really awesome festivals, they also have snow, they have amazing wines, incredible seafood, and just some of the most beautiful views ever.
