there lies a beauty undefined.
for how do you know where you are going,
if you dont know where you come from?
I used to question, I used to run away from
anything and everything which wrecked me uneasy but now I know the glitter on the street are tears sung by those left behind who didn't seem to need me, afterall.

♡ updates - i sent my next book collection off to my publisher last night at 3am, babes! wish me well, expected to be released in November ☆ i will also be present with my typewriter, zines, poems, and books for purchase at the @pensacolazinefest Hallozine Fest October 29 and 30! I have been conjuring some dark celestial creations for the event.

miss happenstances
and misshapen men
would be enough
encouragement
for me to
descend.
Or ascend.
He said I didnt know down from up
Or up from down
I forget the way it goes,
especially when you come around. -
But thats besides the point.
here i go,
here i am!
I smiled while they frowned
with love and not envy,
passion pursued so they try to end me.
and what a dull blade it seemingly shines,
what a frantic fanatic way to make me
dwell and brood
and dislike the likes of myself-

and keep me close
so long as you keep me.
whether you feel like it,
or even if you're tired.
i don't mind the leftovers of the day,
whatevers left of you.
i dont mind being a secret,
if that sits well with you.
i dont mind being pushed aside,
and unseen,
waiting waiting until eventually,

in perfection, in sync, in rhyme,
as a melodic anthem
the sounds of our love,
our testament to us.
no song, no poem, no moment
could ever be enough-

I miss you
In real life
and even in the make believe, too.
for a love like ours is timeless
