Twas time to update the old showreel! One of the best things about creating my alter ego (who is now in her 16th year) is the sheer fun that I’ve had doing it! Don’t get me wrong, it’s been incredibly hard work and there have been moments but I’ve travelled the world many times over and worked / collaborated with some of the most talented people ever and I honestly couldn’t be happier of what our ole Velma has achieved and that’s something which I’m incredibly proud of! Every week is completely different and I just adore it ! Let’s see what’s coming next shall we! Thank you all for your love and support! Wow almost 13 million lol 5 years since I came up with this new character and flew from Sydney to Manchester to film it with ZERO sleep and mucho J Lag ! The first time I’d had the makeup done and stepped in the feet of this new character and I just went on stage and essentially improvised a new human! So much fun to do! Bravo to everyone involved! Such an amazing collaboration The makeup design by Sean and Paula was excellent as was the arrangement of this classic Queen song by none other than the incomparable @joelouismusic Magical work my friends Let’s bring Dev back I say! #bgt #itv #velmacelli by @thevelmacelli
