Pinks checking in… first and foremost, thank you to everyone who checked in, sent a message, sent condolences and just let us know how much you loved Cassie. We read everything and if we didn’t reply, just know we mentally did but physically and emotionally didn’t have the capacity or energy to do so at that moment. Very overwhelming. Secondly, truly grateful Gaby & I had each other to lean on through all of this. I don’t know how I would have done it without her and our amazing partners, friends and family. This is a type of grief I never imagined we’d go through together.

Lastly, as they say in the biz.. “the show must go on” - we had booked these dates prior to Cassie passing and with her blessing. Cassie said to keep it going and not to turn down any shows! So through us, her legacy lives on. Special shoutout to @antpal182 for honoring Cassie and playing drums with us on this run. Thank you for the continued love and support. Hope to see you at these upcoming dates.

Cassandra Nicole Jalilie, our beloved musical sister, passed away today at 5:07 pm holding her twin sister’s hand, sitting alongside her dog daughter Chevy, and surrounded by family. To say this world is not as bright without her presence is an understatement. The love and support from the punk rock community is a testament not only to her as a person, but to her life’s legacy. We are beyond grateful for her and heartbroken and ask for privacy at this time as we take time to grieve and honor our beloved Cassie.

“Soulmates are not always romantic.” You’ve often said this, and I’m so grateful for you to be one of mine. Happiest of Birthdays to you, @drea___doll. You are the glue that keeps this chosen family together. From tour adventures to fam vacations, beach sunsets, and Disney rides, to holding hands through tears, fears, and laughter—you are one of my constants. I’ve made my dreams become a reality and seen so much of the world thanks to you. You are an inspiration to not just me, but to countless people far and wide. I hope this next trip around the sun brings you more musical adventures as you use your voice to continue to ignite those around you and fight for what is unjust. I wish you an abundance of adventure and laughter, making unforgettable memories. But above all these things, I wish for you to never forget how much magic and light you bring to this world by simply being who you are. Live a lot. Love you always, sister. by @thevenomouspinks

Pinks checking in! 👋🏻

Thank you to everyone who came out to Yucca for Cassie’s memorial show. Your support and love meant so much to us.

Together, we were able to donate just shy of $7,000 to the @foundationforwomenscancer in @cassiejalilie name.

We still have a few of the memorial candles available in our shop if you’d like to purchase one. 100% of the proceeds will also be donated to the foundation in Cassie’s honor.

Thank you all for continuing to show up for Cassie and for us. 💗

Keep holding on and we will see you on the road 🫂

It’s the final week to check out “Hold On”, the art exhibit celebrating @cassiejalilie of @thevenomouspinks.
Curating this exhibit was my thank you letter to Cassie. Every piece in the room comes from an artist with a special personal connection to her, featuring work by @chrisshary , @jaredgainesva, @nicolette_go_betty_go, @jasondevore , Christopher Casasanta (Chris #2), @artcityrockers, @lavendercarolyn, @kiri.goes.west, @korah.rainee, @tattoosbyhelen, @katrichardsofficial, @bigred.photo, and myself. Join us this Sunday 9/13 from 11 AM – 2 PM to hang out in the lounge, admire the collection, and raise a glass to our sister with Yucca’s Whiskey & Sour special—Cassie’s drink of choice. Come see these pieces one last time before they head to their forever homes!🥃✨ taken in Yucca Tap Room by @thevenomouspinks
