Miami has plenty of glamorous restaurants.
But this one has stories.

In the ’90s, Casa Casuarina wasn’t a hotel or a restaurant — it was Gianni Versace’s private Miami playground.

Madonna stayed here. Princess Diana, Elton John, Cher and Sting were among the famous faces who passed through its doors.

And Versace didn’t exactly believe in subtle renovations.

He bought the Art Deco hotel next door for $3.7 million… and demolished it to make room for his garden, a new wing and that legendary pool. Then he poured roughly $32 million more into transforming the property.

And yes — that pool really does contain thousands of 24-karat gold tiles. ✨

What I love most is that so much of Versace’s world is still here: the mosaics, painted walls, ceilings, windows, garden and pool.

So dinner at Gianni’s feels a little less like going to a restaurant…and a little more like being invited into one of Miami’s most glamorous chapters. 🖤

Some places aren’t just restaurants—they’re experiences.

To celebrate my husband’s special day, we chose the iconic Versace Mansion, and it was absolutely unforgettable.

From the stunning architecture to every thoughtful detail, the atmosphere was pure elegance.

The 24-karat gold margarita was phenomenal, and the lobster and filet mignon were simply exceptional.

But what truly made the experience stand out was the impeccable service. Every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.
