The concept for this exploration came about recently, when I learned of the changes to the Off-White creative director role. That news sparked a reflection in me, where I sat down and really tried to understand creativity through the Virgil Abloh lens. What remains the most salient to me about Virgil’s approach was the open source approach to creativity, combined with a level of world building refinement that cemented him as one of the world’s greatest creatives. With that same spark of inspiration, armed with a more nuanced perspective on V’s work, I sought out to explore the mechanics of worldbuilding through the use of isolated spaces as a storytelling device, rather than weaving together a traditional narrative.

installation 3 in the conceptual world of @nothing . It rounds out the journey from small scale activations to arenas, and then finally the board room.

As far as research goes, this mini series was a great way to refine techical skills, but also abstraction and being able to visualize a story with clarity before it actually exists in any external form. by @thevideregroup

as the series progresses, the scale of activation has also progressed, to arena scale this time. The @nothing branded stage is a callback to the shape of headphone (1) if you look at it from a flat perspective.
