It’s been a few days, and I’ve finally had a chance to process it all.

I have received so many messages, calls, texts, comments, and words of encouragement. Thank you. Truly. The support has been overwhelming in the best way.

I pour my heart and soul into what I do, and having the opportunity to share a small part of that journey on Good Morning America was incredibly special.

A heartfelt thank you to Good Morning America, Isha, and Ashan for making this such a wonderful experience.

When our 9-year-old comes up with a business plan and pitches it to her investors (grandparents 🤭). She brought her presentation, explained her concept, and answered questions from her “investors” 🤗

She came up with this idea simply because she wants to share the joy she felt on her 9th birthday with other girls.

I usually don’t have a post like this, but the last 24 hours have been heavy on us.

I’m on my way to Toronto, a place that we are always looking forward to going to because we somehow always come home feeling like our hearts are whole again.

This journey is different.

I’m going this time to be among our family as we release the soul of someone who has had such a special place in my heart.

Dada is how I met Datesh. My Bapuji and Dada were best friends growing up in the small town of Chikli, and somehow that bond carried through generations.

He had this ability to create such deep bonds with anyone he encountered, something you could feel at first glance.

Family was always such a central part of who he was and what mattered most to him.

Dada, I have so much love and care for you. Your smile, your carefree way of giving, and your way of keeping people together.

You were one of the first in our family to move to Canada, but you never forgot your roots, and you made sure you passed them on to the next generation.

I promise you I will keep your legacy going.

I love you so much, and I will miss you dearly.
