Not quite a ‘Before > During > After’

It got scary for a while…

Then better for a bit… But our heat output calculations were all off!

So here’s us sizing up our new radiator placement which should turn this room into a nice little sauna over winter.

Heartbreaking chopping these floorboards but needs must for the radiators. (These are the ones that are getting painted green so J assures me this cut seam won’t be noticeable.) He’s also going to be adding more insulation in here.

Slide two shows one of the colder rooms in the house-two external walls -lath and plaster but little insulation. We’ve gone back to base to ensure all bases are covered -it’s going to be very, very cosy in here. by @thevitamindproject

It all feels quite stagnant but actually, things are moving at an exciting pace!

Radiators are being repositioned today -or at least the plumbing for them is getting moved.

Plasterboard going up today.

Plastering next week. Panelling the following.

This room is going to be dry, warm and SPARKLY!!!

Ok, J has finally caved… the living room floor is going G R E E N 💚

I thought I found the perfect green via Pinterest but it turns out the image was heavily filtered. I’m looking for something like Bancha… matte, flat with a HINT of grey and less “pea” green.

Any reccs, please let me know x

Don’t worry about the green on green sofa/ chair in here either. After 9 years together, it’s being upgraded x by @thevitamindproject
