I’m proud to announce that I’m heading into a new chapter and transitioning ArcReport into The Vols Pulse!

I’ll be joining College Pulse HQ, where we’ll cover every school and every story from colleges across the nation. As a University of Tennessee student, I’ve wanted to run a Tennessee basketball page for a long time, and I’m incredibly grateful to now have the opportunity to do so.

Thank you to Team Pulse and all the incredible supporters of ArcReport. I hope you’ll follow me into this exciting new chapter with The Vols Pulse 🏀🍊 by @thevolspulse

The SEC is loaded with talented point guards heading into the 2026-27 season.

With so much talent in the conference, plenty of deserving point guards had to be left off this list. Which player outside the top 10 do you think will have the biggest season? 👀🏀

Honorable Mentions: Boogie Fland, Marcus Millender, Adam Clark

NOTE: Takes current eligibility into effect. Keyshawn Hall and Mark Mitchell are both top 10 small forward talents, but are ineligible until further notice.

Thoughts? This is a more in depth and new version of my position rankings. Stay tuned for power forwards later this week! More position rankings spread out until season tip off! #cbb#cbk#pg#ncaabasketball#sf by @thevolspulse

Next up in our player spotlight series is DeWayne Brown II, one of Tennessee’s few returners. 🍊

DeWayne was a key contributor last year as a backup big, making spot starts throughout the season. His physical play and ability to clean up the glass make him a player to watch heading into year two.

Let me know in the comments below what you think of DeWayne Brown II and your expectations for him this season! by @thevolspulse

Before I get into this post, I want to say I love both these QBs and wish nothing but health and success for both of them.

With GMAC coming in and reigniting the offense Saturday against Auburn, a QB debate has emerged. Faizon brings high-level athleticism and the ability to make plays off script, while GMAC brings sharp decision-making in the pocket.

Although Faizon may be the future of the program, I believe GMAC processes the game a little better right now and gives us the best chance to win SEC games. I’d ride with GMAC going forward, while still giving Faizon opportunities. If GMAC struggles, I’d be open to turning back to Faizon. I want him to keep developing and stay confident.

Either way, I believe the Vols are in a great spot with an elite defense, playmakers, and two talented QBs. Having options at quarterback is a good thing.

Who should the Vols roll with? Vote in the poll and make your case in the comments. 🍊 by @thevolspulse

Another Moment Monday post for y’all! Today I’m covering maybe the craziest play in Tennessee football history: Dobbs’ Hail Mary to Jennings to knock off #25 Georgia in Sanford Stadium in 2016. 🍊

Comment below where you were when it happened and where it ranks among your all-time favorite Vol moments! by @thevolspulse

What grade are you giving Tennessee’s starting 5? 👀

Rick Barnes completely overhauled Tennessee’s roster and went all in on talented scorers. Being able to land Juke Harris was huge as he’s one of the most talented scorers in college basketball. Terrence Hill and Dai Dai Ames are both talented scorers as well, they both were extremely productive last year. Jalen Haralson was a five star recruit coming out of high school and put up good numbers at Notre Dame, his ability to do a little bit of everything is going to be huge for Tennessee. Miles Rubin should be able to replace Okpara’s rim protection and give them a lob target as well. Overall Rick Barnes has assembled a very talented team and looks to break through a get to a Final Four.
