🤩 Summer Bash is almost here, and we can’t wait to spend the day with you! ☀️ 🗓️ Join us on Saturday, August 8, from 10 AM–4 PM at Mount Trashmore for a full day of shopping local, delicious food, live music, karaoke, family-friendly games, contests with prizes, and so much more. 👀We’re looking for a few amazing volunteers to help make Summer Bash a success! ☀️ 🤝If you love supporting local events, meeting great people, and being part of the behind-the-scenes magic, we’d love to have you on our team. We’re currently looking for volunteers for two roles: 📍 Load-In Volunteers (7:00–10:00 a.m.) • Welcome and direct vendors as they arrive • Assist the Vendor Coordinator • Help create a smooth, organized setup 🎉 Activity Volunteers (10:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) • Assist with our family-friendly games and contests • Help participants and spectators • Support our Games Leader throughout the day No experience is necessary — we’ll make sure you know exactly what to do before your shift at the site meeting. 👌 📅 Summer Bash Saturday, August 8 Mount Trashmore Park Virginia Beach Know someone who enjoys community events or needs volunteer hours? 🙌 Who remembers the hula hoop battles, potato sack races, and hot potato chaos from Spring Kickoff? 👀 🥳 We’re bringing all the contests back for Summer Bash on August 8th at Mount Trashmore—but with a few fun updates! 💦 Hot Potato is getting a summer makeover! Instead of passing around a potato, we’ll be playing with reusable water globes. Catch it, toss it, and try not to get soaked! 💦 🏆 We’re also splitting the contests into age groups this year so even more people have a chance to play and win!🏅 👉 We’ll have contests for ages 10 and under, 11–15, and 16 and up! And speaking of winning… 🎉 Each contest winner will receive a $25 market gift card that can be spent with ANY participating business at Summer Bash—including makers, artists, food vendors, face painting, fairy hair, and more 🤩 👆That means we’re putting a total of NINE $25 gift cards back into our amazing community of local small businesses.
