An Update on My Recent Accident

Many people have been reaching out to me regarding the news that I was involved in an accident. Unfortunately, it is true.

The accident happened on Monday afternoon when I was hit by a truck belonging to a certain veterinary pharmaceutical company.

I was hospitalized from Monday until Wednesday night.

Fortunately, I am not in any danger and am currently recovering well at home.

I will share the finer details in a longer post on my social media pages in the coming days.

Right now, I am focusing on recovering as I prepare to report the matter to the police and, hopefully, get justice.

Please keep me in your prayers, particularly for the shock that I am still processing.

On this International Women’s Day (8th March), I encourage the women’s movement to pause, introspect, self-reflect and, even more importantly, engage in honest self-critique.

There are undeniable tensions between younger women and older women within the movement.

Some younger women describe older women as “Jezebels,” “mother hens,” or even toxic. On the other hand, some older women dismiss younger women as entitled, members of the “microwave generation,” or as “beauty without brains.”

While these tensions are often dismissed as a myth or exaggerated generational conflict, scientific research suggests otherwise.

Studies show that some female leaders distance themselves from other women in order to protect their positions in male-dominated environments.

This dynamic deserves honest conversation within the movement.

I know most people visit orphanages
during Christmas ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

"While it sounds noble for organised groups to visit homes for vulnerable children and orphanages during Christmas, it does more harm than good most of the time.

80%-90% of children in orphanages have a parent or close relative who could care for them if poverty was adressed.

Imagine a child forming emotional bonds with a group of adults today, another tomorrow, and yet another the following day. This cycle causes more psychological harm than good.

I have written about this in The Sunday Standard, Sunday, 21st December 2025, page 14, in the hope of starting an important, uncomfortable but necessary conversation about how children in orphanages are treated."
