Loki Trans’d my Gender

The main reason I started this blog in the first place. I wanted to share my experience navigating my transition through spirituality.

I started working with Loki nearly 6 years ago. At the time, I was a “cis woman” but questioning my gender identity. After working with him for a short while, his own tales of shapeshifting & genderbending inspired me to experiment with my own expression. I would begin to identify as genderqueer and use she/they pronouns. Although, nobody would use they/them for me; so I let it go for a while, as I was also in a “straight” relationship.

Well, it took me four more years in that relationship for me to see that this partner and I were heavily misaligned. A month after we broke up, I was dating three of my best friends; and I came out as transmasc after an enlightening experience I had that showed me just how much dysphoria I truly had in my own body.

Nearly two years later, I feel so much more aligned with myself, my chosen name, and pronouns. I always felt that my given name and identity as a woman were not who I was at heart.

I am Stormy A. Skies, my pronouns are he/him.

I am a transmasculine witch of justice, death & glamour.

Lilith’s Affirmation for Confidence
Chanelled messaging from Mother Lilith

She came to me several months ago, & let these words flow through me as I spoke her affirmations to myself in the mirror. I also saw a kestrel a few months ago from my balcony. I feel this could have been from her as she has associations with owls & birds of prey, & I have her sigil hanging outside.

I am brave
I am strong
I am confident
I believe in myself

Principles of the Unrelenting Lokean
A devotional poem inspired by Loki

I wrote this one a while back, I’d say about 2 years ago or more now. I hope that it inspires fellow Lokeans!

I have found my place,
and now is the time;

I will continously renounce
all that does not serve me,
does not serve my people.

I will continue to learn,
to grow, and to thrive;
although the journey
is incredibly difficult.

For as a Lokean,
I gain my strength
through that which
hurts me the most.

I am a bright, bellowing wildfire,
who is constantly, rapidly evolving;

I am a forceful whirlwind of chaos,
a swift, passing moment in time;

I am a body of scalding hot water,
who is remarkably untouchable;

I am a chasmic rift in the earth,
a disturbance of complacency.

Hail Loki.

Retribution.
A devotional poem inspired by Nemesis
I wrote this based on my experience where I first perceieved Nemesis, several months ago. I could very clearly hear these large, angelic wings beating, as if she were physically present in my room. I envisioned a winged woman, blindfolded, sword in one hand, scales in the other. I had no clue who she was until I did some more research the following day, & that is when I wrote this.

The bellowing, booming sound
of her wings shake the Earth.
Mortals tremble in her presence,
in fear of their own retribution.
The guilty will seek rehabilitation,
whilst the innocent seek vengeance.
The polarity of Goddess Nemesis,
as she heeds these calls of injustice.

The Birth of Sleipnir

I figured what better way to introduce myself as a Lokean than to share the myth that gave Loki the title of Mother.

So basically this guy rolls up offering to build a defensive wall for the Gods. He asks for Freyja’s hand in marriage, as well as the sun & moon as payment. Loki persuades everyone to accept the conditions of the deal if the builder can finish the wall within three seasons. This guy agrees to the deal if he can utilize his horse, Svadilfari, who would double his working speed. As the deadline approaches, Freyja is reasonably concerned & upset; the Gods meet & threaten to sentence Loki to death if he fails to stop the builder.

How would Loki get the Gods out of this predicament?

Well, surely, by transforming into a mare.

Svadilfari is enamored with Loki & chases her around relentlessly. Without transportation, completion of the build is out of reach, & Freyja can finally relax. The Gods also realized that the builder is a Jotunn, so they sent Thor to deal with him. Mjolnir in hand, he crushes the giant’s skull, defeating him.

...and that’s where it ends, right?

*wrong*

That night, after being chased by the stallion, Loki births an eight-legged horse called Sleipnir, who is adopted as Odin’s steed.

Praise be to Loki, Mother & Father.

Introduction

Welcome to my Portal of Chaos

I am an eclectic death witch of nearly 5 years. I am constantly changing & evolving, working with deities surrounding transformation & rebirth. I am able to channel messages from the divine as well as from spirits who have crossed over.

I believe there are some lessons we can only learn through spirit;

Our worlds of Life & Death are so closely intertwined.

I recently began working with divine Mothers Hekate & Demeter. They are such an incredible team for releasing & transforming grief. Never have I ever had such cathartic cries than when I have worked with Demeter, especially during ritual. Demeter will release grief & seek to soothe, as a Mother does; & these burdens are food for Hekate Borborophorba, the Eater of Filth [grief].

I hope for this page to serve as a sufficient digital altar space for my guides & to gather a like-minded community of witches.
