Please read the above image. Despite what Meta thinks, this image was NOT MADE OR ALTERED WITH Ai. I drew it by hand, shaded it with markers and colored it with colored pencils. Again… fuck Ai. by @thewarlovers

I feel like i haven’t posted enough about Studzilla … it was so much fun i barely took any pictures. Here’s a totally chaotic moment captured on camera… you can barely see anyones face, or see Thao at all. The War Lovers live for these moments of spontaneity and havoc. Thanx for having fun with us! Studzilla Punx Weekend Vol IV has come and gone. It was one for the books.

Studzilla started as something that my friend Shawn and I did one time back in 2016… 6 bands, one day.

I brought it back in 2024; 2 days, 14 bands, vendors, multiple venues. Its a lot of work. I have considered not doing it anymore due to stress levels and monetary constraints… but nothing has ever stopped me.

I love punk. I don’t care what it takes from me because what it gives back in return is something I couldn’t live without. And i know i’m not the only one who feels that way.

There are loyal punks that go to Studzilla every year. There are first timers that go to Studzilla. There are naysaying shit-talkers that go to Studzilla. But ultimately everyone has a blast, the bands kill it, the vendors are awesome, the venue(s) are sick.

Thank you to everyone that came this year. I can’t wait to see you next year.
