Let’s unpack this. By this, I mean the new items we’re putting out in the store. We have some seeing must-haves like cute fabric, sewing machines and a dress form. We reorganized and put out more frames. There’s also some cool stamps waiting to be used!

It's happening!!!! Everybody mark your calendars, the WasteShed Edgewater is officially OPENING for business at 5200 N Broadway on Saturday, October 24th!

We somehow managed to squeeze all of our yarn tangles, photo slides, and faux floral garlands into one big suitcase and we're almost done unpacking! Help us kick things off at our Grand Opening by shopping from 11-6pm. We'll also have free crafting and demos plus booths featuring some of our partners and local orgs until 3!

What sort of ribbon-y thing should we use for our opening ceremony? Yarn? Paper chain? Shoe laces? The world is our weird, delightful, trash-filled little oyster. Come join us! 🦪

Big thank you to @illinoisartscouncil, @chicagodcase and @fieldfoundation for your support in getting us here! by @thewasteshed
