I let love move through me like water through baleen.
Small fish, sweet moments, stay. I’m thankful for the force that brought them, even as it takes its leave, again. Love isn’t made to be held in your mouth.
Swallow. Drink, drink it down.

We are made of water, anyway.

It does irk me when folks hold up the year as a fig leaf against the naked pattern of humanity’s cruelty. Every day of every year, forever, we each must own the responsibility to choose connection over control!
