Students from Webb’s Mental Health Awareness Club and Teen Minds United Club share why mental health awareness matters and how they care for their mental health.

Wellness at Webb is woven into the rhythm of daily life, grounded in the belief that students thrive when they feel supported, known, and balanced. From conversations with advisors to time spent connecting with friends, everyday moments of care complement our Health Center services and counseling, supporting students’ overall academic, social, and emotional well-being.

We’re so lucky to have the Norton Simon Museum right in our Southern California backyard 🎨

Throwing it back to our Modernist Literature class’s recent visit, where students saw works by the very artists they’ve been studying.

Alongside the poetry, prose, and philosophy of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, our students have explored Cubism, Impressionism, and Post-Impressionism—making the museum’s galleries a natural extension of their classroom. taken in Norton Simon Museum by @thewebbschools

Greetings from Barstow! This past weekend was the first #PeccaryTrip of the year! As part of their biology class, all 9th graders of @thewebbschools take their first Peccary Trip to Barstow in the Mojave Desert to learn about paleontology and look for fossils! Led by Alf Museum paleontologists like Dr. Andy and Dr. Mairin Balisi, students get to experience science firsthand.

Peccary Trips are an honored tradition at The Webb Schools and Alf Museum that stretches back 90 years to when Ray Alf discovered his very first fossil, a peccary skull, in Barstow. Students even get cook using the same pans that Ray and his students used, our so-called peccary pans, on their Peccary Trips!

Congrats to everyone on completing their first Peccary Trip and on making some really great finds like a fossil horse toe bone! We hope this leads to many discoveries and memories during your time at Webb and the Alf Museum!

All specimens were collected under permit from the US Bureau of Land Management and are housed at the Alf Museum of Paleontology collection.

Way to represent, Webbies! 👏

Bright and early, Kivuila Lusievo '28, Marius Zhang '28, Yonel Rivera '29, Wewish Mahawong '29, and Ethan Cha '29 helped distribute food to nearly 300 Pomona neighbors in need.

For four straight hours, they were working hard, lending a hand wherever needed, and serving each person with kindness and respect.

We’re proud to see our students showing up for the communities around us and putting service into action. by @thewebbschools
