This week, our @nflpaformerplayers member, Marcus Smith II, served as a keynote speaker at the @mentalhealthamerica conference, where he shared the barriers he encountered when considering asking for help as a NFL player.

On #worldmentalhealthday, remember there is nothing weak about asking for help. Here’s some resources to get you started!

NFL LIFE LINE

Provides independent, confidential crisis support 24/7 to players & loved ones.

Our Founder & CEO, Marcus Smith II, had the privilege of being a voice for the players partnering with the NFL Trust.

At The Circle of M, we believe no athlete should ever feel like they have to fight their mental health battles alone. The NFLPA and NFL Trust have resources available to support current and former players through the challenges that can come with life in and beyond the game.

Asking for help is strength.

You are not alone in this. Please reach out. The resources are there, and so are people who truly understand.

A Special night at Camden Yards with @downtownbaltimore ⚾️

We were honored to capture a Downtown Partnership of Baltimore staff member throwing out the first pitch. My partner @byrdseye_viewmedia and I are both grateful to @shelondastokes for trusting us with that moment.

Proud of the work the team continues to put out together. Every project is another chance to show what we can do as a team. by @thewestvisuals

For years I put blood, sweat, tears, sacrifice, and showing up when nobody understood the vision.
✨
I didn’t build these relationships in India overnight. I took the time to build a healthy foundation rooted in trust, respect, and real connections.
✨
There’s so much more to India than people think. India is beautiful, rich in its own right, and full of history, culture, creativity, and soul. India has welcomed me with open arms, and it has become my second home.
✨
Some people think I’m crazy for showing as much as I do. Even crazier for creating tours and bringing people into spaces that took me years to gain access to. But none of that matters when you understand your purpose.
✨
I’ve become one of the moving parts in a machine that helps everything align. Now it’s time to pull the curtain back and let you all into my world.
✨
Welcome to my journey. Welcome to Vividae Takes India. 🇮🇳
This is only the beginning. 🎬 taken in India by @thewestvisuals

This conversation was bigger than football.

Marcus spoke on what he wishes more people understood about what NFL players carry mentally today from pressure and identity to the growing conversations around CTE and mental health.

Being able to capture this message inside Nasdaq in New York City meant a lot. Special thank you to @ideagenglobal for creating space for conversations like this and allowing @thecircleofm to continue building partnerships, working together and creating something strong enough to make real change.

I’m honored I got to document this project and stand beside my brother Marcus throughout the journey.

The work continues & The message gets stronger.
