The wall keeps spinning…

A little update to the collection — more vibes, more stories, and a little more character added to the space (a taste of places I’ve visited)🍷
Still adding the finishing touches to set the perfect ambiance.

What started as a few records has slowly turned into a collection worth putting on display. And trust me… we’re just getting started. Every piece featured is either an OG (original) pressing or a special-edition release.

New additions
Colleen Hoover’s Verity has easily been one of my favorite reads of 2026. Now that I’ve finished it, I’m even more excited to see the how the story is rendered on screen.

Needless to say, due to Verity, It Ends With Us earned itself a spot in the collection and is my next read after just finishing Don’t Let Him In.

One of my friends is basically the Urban Fiction—or “hood tales”—guru. Their track record is getting hard to argue with. The Cartel, Moth to a Flame, Ethic… not a miss in the bunch. At this point, when they recommend a book, I pretty much have to at least give it a chance. I’ll let y’all know how Capone goes. 😂📚

Continuing on the “Spins” side of things, pulling another one from the crates — a 1977 OG pressing of The Isley Brothers’ Go for Your Guns. 🎙️💿

A classic in every sense, with “Footsteps in the Dark (Parts 1 & 2)” and “Voyage to Atlantis” among the gems tucked into this one. Just the first of a few Isley Brothers pressings making their way into the collection. More coming soon 🥂

To anyone who’s asked what I’m reading or what I’ve read already… this page is for you. 😂🥂

Jeneva Rose had me hooked with The Perfect Marriage and The Perfect Divorce, so when another one of her books came to my attention, curiosity got the best of me.
And she brings that same level of suspense and twists in YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE COME HERE

Up Next: DON’T LET HIM IN. Lisa Jewell still has me questioning what DID actually happen in None of This Is True. That book had me hooked and second-guessing everything. It was good enough to make me buy another… actually, two. 📚👀

A new chapter for the backup page begins where it should: at the top.
A look back at some of my favorite pieces in the White Coat Collection, shared in the order they joined it. ✨

Michael Jackson “Thriller” 1982 OG press
- a staple for any collection for obvious reasons. Only right that I start there

OutKast “Aquemini” 2023 Limited Edition Gold Galaxy reissue
- My favorite rap group. A special-edition release, featuring a gold galaxy vinyl housed in a velvet jacket—an elevated take on an already timeless piece

Erykah Badu “Mama’s Gun” 2020 Club Edition reissue
- A special-edition pressing featuring a scarlet and gold vinyl, a standout variant of a must-have album.

Anita Baker “Rapture” 1986 OG press
- The album that literally sparked my interest for vinyl collecting. I had to experience it in its purest form, and hearing it on vinyl did not disappoint.

Bobby Brown “Don’t Be Cruel” 1988 OG press
- Fun fact… this is an alter ego of mine. Don’t ask 😅. Naturally, a record with that much personal significance had to find its way into the collection immediately.

“Surely you wouldn’t do an Irish good bye to a whole new city”
Me: …

Dear Dallas,
You’ve been “home” for the greater part of my adulthood… but it’s time. Although I’m moving onto a new chapter, I can’t go without expressing gratitude for this portion of the journey.
To the REAL ones, thank you for holding me down for the ride. Through the good and bad, I appreciate you for your roles in my life, for your friendship, for your support. Until next time… #ThankYou

#Love,
