POSTS STORIES REELS

Recently we caught up with Nick Dillon in the gallery to chat about his process, his inspiration and the stories behind some of his work.

One of the pieces we discussed was ALADDIN SANE - IN BOWIE.

One of the most recognisable images in music history recreated through Nick’s signature text-based technique, with thousands of individually hand-painted “BOWIE” motifs combining to create this incredible portrait of David Bowie.

This is the third Bowie work Nick has produced, with each piece exploring a different process and visual language whilst keeping the iconic subject at its centre.

Original acrylic on canvas, framed.

105cm x 125cm.

A look behind the scenes at Majestic Ratios by James Mylne.

It’s always interesting seeing what goes into a piece before it ends up framed and on the wall. The time, layers and different stages behind the finished work are a big part of what makes a piece like this what it is.

James spent over six weeks creating Majestic Ratios, and these images give a bit of an insight into the process behind it.

The finished piece is currently available to view at The Wild Beast Art Haus in Tunbridge Wells. Drop us a DM if you’d like to arrange a viewing or find out more.
