We’re so sorry to hear about everything that’s happened recently with the studios temporarily closing. We know how important your studio, your routine and the community around it can become, so we wanted to offer a little support to anyone affected.

If you’re a previous Reformcore or Barrecore client and have never visited Wilder before, we’d love to welcome you in for a complimentary class with us.

This series had everyone shaking this week! I challenged our balance and stability with the ball, activating pretty much every muscle in the body!

New Year. New resolutions.

This feels like the perfect time to revisit The Wilder Studios a reformer Pilates gym we renovated in Belsize Park.

The response since opening has been incredible, with huge amounts of 5★ reviews. Well-done to Chad & the team!

The brief was simple:

calming • homely • modern

A space designed to help you slow down, focus, and move well.

✔️100th reformer Pilates class, check🥰 I went to my first ever reformer class at @thewilderstudios on a whim in mid January and not to be dramatic, but it has fully changed my life.

I posted about my lifelong ebbs and flows with fitness and dance and body image and how Pilates has been unlike anything else I’ve ever tried back in late February or early March after my 20th class, but at this milestone I just feel so proud and at peace.

On the reformer my always racing mind goes quiet. I feel strong, capable, graceful, and in a flow state. I leave every class excited for my next one and I never have to force myself to go. It’s helped me prioritise my sleep, it makes me calmer at work and in daily life, and I drink so much less now. I also started doing mat Pilates again after about a decade hiatus, practicing at home, on holiday (who, me?!), and in other studios around London.

The vast majority of these 100 reformer classes were at @thewilderstudios and I can’t thank my fav instructors @igwithpenelope, @thomasfleury_ and @chaddywilder enough for their incredible instruction and encouragement as my love of this practice has deepened with every class! An honourable mention to another favourite studio, @cecistudiocamden by @lydiacollier which is my second most-visited spot and has also been such an encouraging and lovely space to go.
