I was a boy carrying a man’s weight,
trying to numb the hurt that never waited.
The pills took my hands, my heart, my name....

But something in me refused to drown.

Through the ruin and ash, I found my vow...

I’m the man who shows up,
The man who loves loud.

Slow down, stop rushing through life... Take in the beauty in the small things.

Sit down, lay down take a breath and truly see the wonders of nature.

Just a few photos from the most recent walk🍄🌲
Sulphur tufts beggining to taking over old stumps, ink caps melting back into the earth, some young oak bonnets tucked away in dead wood
And whatever the piggy back is happening to that blackening brittle gill 😂

Anyone ever seen anything like this?

Autumn is on its way!! 🪾🪾🍁🍁🍂

I never used to celebrate how far I've come.
In my head, I just did what had to be done.

I went through hell
and i came back different.
Built a life I never thought I'd have
and kept going.
Maybe sometimes we need to stop
and give ourselves some f🍄cking credit

Funny what you start noticing when you're no longer trying to escape your own life.

For years, I was always chasing something.
A drink. A drug. A feeling. Anything that meant I didn't have to sit still and just be me.

I missed so much of the world around me because I was too busy trying to get away from it.

We spend long enough trying to escape life, now its time to f🍄cking live it

Sometimes the wild needs us too.
A little water.💧
A little trust.🤠
Then back to the earth. 🌏

Help the wild when you can.
Even the smallest lives matter. 🌿

We're allowed down days. We're allowed to struggle. Life isn't always perfect, and neither are we.

Sometimes you just have to remind yourself that a bad day doesn't mean a bad life.
Tomorrow, we go again. 🌲🖤
