Yammoune | Lebanon

Yammoune is already shaped by the wind.

High between the mountains of the Bekaa, the lake has its own rhythm. The wind moves differently here. It comes through the valleys, changes direction, disappears, returns—and asks you to pay attention.

We came to see if it could be ridden.
The first attempts were far from perfect.
We tried. We failed. We watched the wind. We tried again.

And then, everything aligned.
The kite rose. The board moved. The lake and town moved with our spirits.

Riding Yammoune wasn’t about proving that kitesurfing could be done here.
It was about discovering what the place could teach us.

Because every new spot changes the way you ride. It makes you adapt, listen, and understand the wind in a different language.

And sometimes, the most rewarding places aren’t the ones that give you perfect conditions.
They’re the ones that make you learn.

This is what we love about following the wind.
It takes us beyond the familiar, into places where sport becomes a way of discovering a landscape, its people, and ourselves.

Yammoune was only the beginning.

Not every golden hour belongs to sunset.
Some are found at the very beginning of the day.

A sunrise above Yammouni.
Mountains waking up.
Wind moving through the valley.
A place that still has stories to tell.

We came here to discover, to ride, to camp, to listen to the wind… and we found something we weren’t expecting.

Something is taking shape.
For now, we’ll let the wind keep the secret.
