Some journeys are measured in kilometres. Others are measured in the lives they touch. 🏍️🌍

We had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Singara Vadivel to The Windmill Virundhu during his extraordinary round-the-world motorcycle journey.

At 60 years young, he has travelled through 93+ countries and has been on the road for almost 28 months straight — an incredible journey of adventure, resilience, determination and purpose.

Before taking on this remarkable adventure, Dr. Vadivel built an impressive 35-year career in global technology. A scientist, author and mentor, and decades of experience in Bell Labs and Microsoft.

Then came a completely different chapter. Dr. Vadivel began his extraordinary motorcycle journey from Silicon Valley, leaving the corporate world behind to explore the world on two wheels. 🏍️

What started in Silicon Valley has taken him across continents, countries and cultures — connecting with people, sharing knowledge , bringing decades of experience in technology, innovation and leadership , inspiring communities and discovering the humanity that connects us beyond borders.

His remarkable story has been featured in newspapers across several countries, and we are truly happy that The Windmill Virundhu and our historic windmill in the Netherlands became a small part of his incredible journey. ❤️
