🎹 . . . . #nationalpanasonic #vintage #collectable #unique #synth #synthesizer #lp #recordplayer #cover #producer #recordingstudio #vintageelectronics #electricpiano #travelingmusician #8bit #japanese #electronicmusic #nostalgia #nostalgic #losnagelesnegros #germaindelafuente #yvolvere #1970 #vinyl #vinylplayer #vintage by @thewingpiano

Can’t beat the retro sound of the Omnichord 🎵 I had too much fun mixing the chords with the harp and the amazing built-in drum machine 😋 This is a cover of Daft Punk’s 2001 hit “Veridis Quo”. This is one of those songs that you haven’t heard in a long time, but then rediscover it and fall in love with it again! I happened to stumble with this song recently and thought the melody would go perfectly with my then newly-acquired Omnichord. . . . . #veridisquo #daftpunk #omnichord #80s #80smusic #80sstyle #vintage #vintageelectronics #electronicmusic #synth #synthwave #synthesizer #synthcollector #synthcover #producer #recordingstudio #travelingmusician #fyp #animemusic by @thewingpiano

Para mi gente de Chile y Latinoamérica—31 Minutos!!! ⏰🫶🇨🇱 (Yo Nunca Vi Televisión—Y Luego Sí, Pero Después No) 📺 This song has been requested a few times…and I can see why people love it—it is just so upbeat, happy and completely nostalgic :-) This is my Omnichord cover of it🎵 Honestly, I’d never heard this song before, I was just told how popular this children TV series is/was in Latin America. The people that requested this song mentioned how the Omnichord sound reminded them a lot of this song, however, I’m thinking the original synth sounds more like an ARP Odyssey or Moog, if someone here knows please let us know!! 🎹 “31 Minutos” is a Chilean comedy television series and a children’s music virtual band. It has aired since 2003, and its popularity has expanded throughout Central and South America. Have you ever seen this show?? (side note: due to the limited octaves on the Omnichord, I had no other choice but to go an octave lower on the second part of the song) 🎵 . . . . #omnichord #31minutos #chile #synth #synthwave #synthesizer #synthesis #synthmusic #synthpop #80s #80smusic #vintage #vintageelectronics #8bit #8bituniverse #producer #recordingstudio #nostalgia #travelingmusician #electronicmusic #musicaenespañol #yonuncavilatelevision #videogamemusic #arcade #santiagodechile by @thewingpiano

Another funky piece of music history just landed at The Wing Piano HQ! 🎹🪩✨ Meet our beautiful Hohner Clavinet D6, introduced in 1971 and made in Germany! This iconic electric keyboard helped define the sound of 1970s funk and soul, famously heard on Stevie Wonder’s Superstition and Higher Ground, and Billy Preston’s legendary Outa-Space—the soundtrack to this reel! 🚀🎶 I recently picked up this beauty locally, and it’s incredible how well it has been cared for throughout the decades! Even more surprising, it still has its original legs, music rack, owner’s manual, and schematics! 📖✨ A wonderful little time capsule! And of course, Kot had to give our newest arrival his official inspection! 🐈‍⬛❤️ Who else loves that unmistakable funky Clavinet sound? 🎹🔥 . . . . #HohnerClavinet #billypreston #electricpiano #FunkMusic #RecordingStudio by @thewingpiano

Kot isn’t just listening… he’s feeling ABBA’s “Chiquitita.” 😻🎹 Maybe he recognizes those warm vintage synths and lush harmonies — proof that good taste transcends species 🐱 ✨ Fun fact: ABBA donated all the royalties from “Chiquitita” to UNICEF — it remains one of the most successful charity singles in history. 🌍💙 🐾🎶 Because even cats know when the analog magic hits. . . . . #ABBA #Chiquitita #AgnethaFaltskog #recordingstudio #catsofinstagram by @thewingpiano

🎸💔 A heartbreaking moment in rock & roll history. In 1977, the plane carrying Lynyrd Skynyrd ran out of fuel and crashed in a wooded area in Mississippi, claiming the lives of lead singer Ronnie Van Zant, guitarist Steve Gaines, backing vocalist Cassie Gaines, assistant road manager Dean Kilpatrick, and both pilots. The remaining 20 people aboard survived, many with devastating injuries. Drummer Artimus Pyle and two crew members went searching for help, reportedly encountering a farmer who fired a shot, mistaking them for intruders. Guitarist Allen Collins survived but suffered two fractured vertebrae in his neck and severe arm injuries, with one arm reportedly at risk of amputation. This remarkable footage captures Collins playing guitar while recovering, still wearing a hospital gown, neck brace, and arm support. Reportedly filmed for a medical documentary, the footage resurfaced decades later, leaving some viewers questioning whether it was even real. An incredible testament to resilience after one of rock music’s greatest tragedies. 🎸❤️ Via @lulidelrey . . . . #LynyrdSkynyrd #AllenCollins #RockHistory #VintageGuitars by @thewingpiano

Watching TV like it’s 1958! 📺✨🎶 There’s something magical about watching vintage television on an actual vintage TV! Today, we’re traveling back in time with The Chordettes performing their timeless classic “Mr. Sandman” on Dick Clark’s Saturday Night Beech-Nut Show in February 1958! 🎙️ Originally released in 1954, “Mr. Sandman” became a No. 1 hit, and The Chordettes’ beautiful four-part harmonies helped define the sound of the 1950s. ❤️ And what better way to enjoy this nostalgic performance than on my fully restored 1959 Philco Predicta Princess? With its futuristic Space-Age design and iconic swiveling screen, this television was truly ahead of its time! 🛸 Over 70 years later, the magic of the 1950s is still alive! Would you watch your favorite old movies and shows on a vintage TV like this? 🥰 . . . . #PhilcoPredicta #VintageTelevision #TheChordettes #MidCenturyModern by @thewingpiano

Happy Heavenly Birthday, John Lennon! 🎂🎹❤️ Remembering one of the greatest musical minds of all time with this wonderful photograph of John behind a vintage Farfisa organ. As a lover of vintage keyboards, I especially love seeing moments like this—surrounded by instruments, tape machines, and all that beautiful analog recording equipment. John’s creativity, curiosity, and willingness to experiment with sound helped shape music history. His legacy continues to inspire generations of musicians and dreamers. ✨ And a very Happy Birthday to @sean_ono_lennon, who shares this special day with his father! ❤️ Congratulations to Sean and Charlotte on the arrival of their beautiful baby boy, Aurelius. A new generation of the Lennon family! 🥰 Which John Lennon or Beatles song is your all-time favorite? . . . . #JohnLennon #TheBeatles #FarfisaOrgan #RecordingStudio by @thewingpiano

A little piece of Casio history just arrived! ⌚✨ Meet the Casio CRW-001 Ring Watch, created to celebrate 50 years of Casio watches! This tiny marvel features a fully functional digital display, all packed into a beautifully crafted stainless steel ring. I absolutely love how Casio managed to shrink its iconic retro digital watch design into something so miniature and wearable! As a lover of vintage electronics, I couldn’t resist adding this little piece of Japanese ingenuity to my collection. And of course, I had to show it off alongside my Soviet Elektronika synthesizer! 🎹 What do you think? Would you wear a watch on your finger? 👀 . . . . #Casio #CasioRingWatch #VintageElectronics #casiocrw001 by @thewingpiano
