This is probably my favourite bts story time ever. No wonder it looks like Dean is about to pass out lol.

Edit by me, original con footage credit to Niki Rae at DenverCon.

When I found this out I laughed so hard. It became one of Dean's fundamental character traits and it all started with Jensen eating props 😆.
Apparently they liked to keep him on his toes, so it was all done on a whim- the food would be awesome or totally awful with no in between. It was food roulette lol.

I learned about this from you guys when I did my " Why Jared Almost Didn't Get Cast As Sam" reel. I love it when you guys teach me new supernatural lore! I also learned that on the first take Jensen covered his face so this was actually take 2 and that's WHY he's got his arms out like that because he's focused on falling a story and not covering his face. Respect. Jared basically elbow strikes his way out, and looks straight down at where he's going to land, you can see him doing the math.

What did you guys think? Crazy how fast they fell... I'm impressed 👏 😎

There's so many conversations in the fandom about how much Supernatural has helped people through hard times so I thought it would be fun to look into it in more depth, so naturally, I made memes because it's me . 😆

Please tell me in the comments if this resonates and feel free to tag your besties who get it.

Fresh made memes straight out of my oven for y'all. If you laugh you must tell us all when you broke so that we can become pals. Happy Tuesday y'all, may it be hilarious and not feel like Mystery Spot.

Also I fact checked the GLAAD award and it's true. 🤣

Happy Supernatural Day everyone!

Generally I don't share my personal story but today's an exception.

Ok so in 2005 when the show was airing I was having a rough year.
I was really ill and doctors had no answers for several years, I was unable to attend my final years of highschool, so the transition from highschool to college was rough as there was no way for me to sit my SATs.
I don't know to what extent my brain may have been affected by traumatic events and the parvo virus probably attacked it as I lost the ability to walk, to move my face, ect. I still have really limited sensation on the right side of my body.
For reasons of safety, I felt it necessary to get as far away from where I had grown up as humanly possible.
So I did my best at a small community college and then transferred to a university in the UK.

Here I was still very much recovering from a virus that almost yeeted me off of life and a shit ton of trauma 🙃 so my brain was mush, and I was solo in a fully different country in an alien academic environment, drowning.

I'm also autistic, which I did not know at the time. So added challenge.

What Supernatural did for me was to provide me with an anchor and a toughness that I very much needed. I needed to see equally traumatised people gritting thier teeth and just getting things done. They clearly had PTSD , they clearly had the same lack of home in the traditional sense. But Sam & Dean faced thier monsters every week, so so did I.

In the end I got a dual degree, English & Film , found my sense of home and met the love of my life who is a 6"4 man with green eyes and a sense of adventure, (Winchester vibes ya know, thank you to spn for raising the bar so high). 😆

To this day "Dad's on a hunting trip" gives me goosebumps, it's nostalgia, but it's also a battle cry to me. It's a reminder that with a little Winchester grit, anything is possible.
