Welcome to The Witching Edit 🕯️🍂

I’m Brooke, and if you’ve ever wished October could last all year, I think you’ll like it here.

I created The Witching Edit because October has always felt a little like home to me—the candles, apple cider, Halloween decorations, scary movies, witchy books, pumpkin patches and that little bit of magic that seems to exist everywhere once fall arrives.

The only problem? I live in Florida. 😂🌴

So I’ve gotten pretty good at creating my own version of fall, even when it’s 85 degrees outside.

This little corner of the internet will be filled with witchy living, books, beauty, travel, Halloween, cozy things, spooky places and all the little ways I find magic in ordinary life.

And this October, I’m finally checking Salem at Halloween off my bucket list, so you’re definitely coming along for that. 🔮

Think Practical Magic, Fleetwood Mac playing in the kitchen, candles burning, ghost stories, old cemeteries, cute Halloween decor and probably way too much apple cider.

Basically, if October feels like home to you too…

stay for a spell. 🖤🕯️

I figured if you’re going to stay for a spell, you should probably know who you’re hanging out with. 🕯️🖤

Hi, I’m Brooke—the girl behind The Witching Edit.

I’m a Florida mom of three girls, Forensic Science student, Halloween-obsessed homebody and firm believer that Practical Magic is appropriate viewing year-round. 🔮

I love apple cider, Fleetwood Mac, witchy books, cute ghosts, old cemeteries, haunted houses, tarot, crystals, fall candles and finding little ways to make ordinary life feel magical.

And yes, I will happily decorate for fall while my AC is fighting for its life. 😂🌴🎃

This October I’m also finally checking something HUGE off my bucket list…

Salem at Halloween. 🧙‍♀️🍂

So if you love cozy things, spooky places, girlhood, books, travel, Halloween and a little everyday magic, I think we’re going to get along just fine.

October feels like home to me.

Welcome to my little corner of it. 🖤

Last night was a strange one… 🌙🖤

Maybe it was Halloween. Maybe it was the veil thinning between worlds. Maybe some nights simply carry an energy you can’t quite explain.

All I know is something felt different.

The veil was open, the air was heavy, and the witching hour felt a little too real. 🔮✨🕯️

Did anyone else feel how weird last night was? 👁️🖤 by @thewitchingedit_

she called, I answered. a little Salem magic found its way home. 🖤🔮 by @thewitchingedit_

“No magic is stronger than sisterhood. Cast by fate, tested by time, and never broken.” 🖤✨ by @thewitchingedit_

Salem, you had me under your spell. 🖤🔮🍂

Cobblestone streets, centuries-old cemeteries, autumn leaves, witchy little shops, and a little magic around every corner. From morning coffee to midnight ghost stories, this trip was everything my spooky soul needed.

Some places you visit, and some places feel like they’ve been calling you your whole life. Salem was the latter. 🕯️

Until we meet again, Witch City. 🧹🌙

Stay for a spell. 🖤

Book the trip. Wear the outfit. Take up space. Romanticize your life. Stop waiting for permission to become the woman you want to be. 🖤✨

Life is too short to live by someone else’s rules, babe.

Stay wild, stay magical, and stay for a spell. 🥀🔮

A little reminder to trust the timing of your life. 🖤✨

Not everything needs to make sense right now. Some things are still unfolding, some doors haven’t opened yet, and some of the best chapters haven’t even begun.

Release the need to control the how and when. What’s meant for you will find its way. 🌙

Stay soft. Stay hopeful. Stay for a spell. 🕯️ by @thewitchingedit_
