THE LAST DANCE 🎤 ‎ ‎Every event has a moment when you realize it is almost over, and you wish you had paid more attention. This year, wordliners open mic gave Kano a lot of those moments because there were stage performers that got people clapping before the performer had even finished the last line. ‎ ‎Also, there were first-timers who walked up shaking and walked back to their seats like they had grown two inches. Now we are down to the final one of 2026, and we are calling it "The Last Dance." So if you have been hearing about Wordliners all year and keeping your distance, this is the time to finally come. ‎ ‎📅 Date: Sunday, 29th November, 2026 ‎⏰ Time: 2:00 PM. ‎📍 Venue: TBA ‎🔗 Registration link: https://haske247.com/wordliners/ ‎ by @thewordliners_ng
‎Yesterday, Wordliners Nigeria was at King's Hall. ‎ ‎We came to watch "The Trials of Akuben" by Jespedo Studios & Academy, as partners and honestly, we enjoyed it. The acting, the spoken word, the message to young people and everything was absolutely on point. ‎ ‎This is why we love what we do as Wordliners, which is supporting young creatives and using art to teach. So expect something big soon between Jespedo & Wordliners. ‎ ‎A big respect and shout-out to Jespedo Studios and the whole cast. You did well. ‎Beyond Degree 2026 | Bayero University Kano ‎ ‎We are so proud of our team @halimatou__nagau and @bashmande who represented Wordliners Nigeria at Beyond Degree, an event hosted by NASELS-BUK together with the Students’ Union Government at Bayero University Kano. ‎ ‎The theme was one every student eventually faces: What happens after the degree? ‎ ‎The conversation was refreshingly practical, with real pathways for students stepping out of university into innovation, academia, and entrepreneurship. Because yes, a degree matters, but what you do with it is what counts. ‎ ‎At the end, Halima took the stage with a piece that sits close to her heart. ‎ ‎Thank you @nasels.buk for hosting us. ‎ ‎We are the Wordliners, ‎We express the best with poetry. by @thewordliners_ng
