There was a lot that went into getting a suit like this to the market, but once it did in 2019 it opened the door for more companies to start thinking about proper PPE for women in the trade ⚡️

Rest in peace to our original name. GBTG 2015 – 2025.

Same people. New name. Stronger mission.
@theworkingclasswomen is the next chapter⚡️

Our purpose hasn’t changed. Since day one, we’ve set out to highlight women in the automotive field, build a community that inspires, encourages, and breaks boundaries. The name may be new, but this movement has always been about working class women.

Along the way, we teamed up with @sata_by_dan_am to create the first-ever women’s tailored paint suit which opened the doors for other companies to follow. We’ve inspired others to launch their own platforms and help normalize women in trades, and we hope to continue encouraging and being that breath of fresh air.

Connie here ! It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Looking forward to jumping back into the swing of things and seeing what you guys have been up to.

Back in 2019, I had the privilege of teaming up with @sata_by_dan_am to create the industry’s FIRST tailor made suit to fit women, and it was a game changer.

It fills my heart to see the positive ripple effect our collaboration had. Other companies have stepped up to the plate and started creating paint suits designed specifically for women.

While perfection may be elusive, having a variety of options is what it's all about! 🚀 All those open doors mean endless possibilities for painters everywhere. 🌈

I'm genuinely excited for what the future holds in this space!

Meet Anne-Catrin ⚡
@annicars ✅

Anne is an automotive body technician from Germany. 🇩🇪

In 2022, she took over @hoss_karosserieundlack the family body and paint shop where she is now the owner. Taking that step from working in the trade to owning the shop is pretty damn cool to see. 👏

We love recognizing women like Anne who we’ve been following over the years and getting to watch them grow along the way. Now were watching a newer generation start to step into the industry too.

As careers grow and change, some move up, some step away to start a family, and others pursue something different. No matter where the road takes you. We see you. ✊❤️
