SainSmart sent over their Genmitsu Kintix bench top laser for me to test out. I was impressed with the compact size and ease of setup right out of the box. Whether you have laser experience or not, this unit can be used for a variety of applications!
•
The laser can be operated using the Genmitsu or CutLabX app, or directly through Lightburn. It features an auto stop when the front shield is open to prevent injury and is quick and easy to focus based on the material height. You can remove the base plate to engrave on larger projects and even adjust the overall height capacity of the laser itself with the set screws on the back of the unit.
•
Overall, this laser produced a quick and clean engraving and I’m excited to start incorporating it into my work in the shop!
