I love the layering of formal and traditional Japanese patterns and geometries and the contrast of textures and materials here, and how it's capped off by a little whimsical, organic stroke of leaf. Saw some beautiful wood products and learned a lot about solid wood milling and fabrication at a shop visit with my #prattinteriordesign students to @triloxworkshop ! It's great to have a chance get to know local fabricators and really get a sense for how the products we specify are made .
