🚨 Today we announce The Workshop Dxb is publishing its first book: The Flip Side - 2016-2026

A collection of the polaroids that have lived on the walls of everybody’s favorite record shop since its early days, brought together as a document of place, people and a little piece of the culture that grew around it.

We’ve been wanting to document, archive and give permanence to the things, people and scenes that matter to us. This book is where it begins, feels like the natural place to start, a small piece of Dubai’s independent cultural history.

‼️ UPDATE: SOLD OUT! ‼️

This Saturday, 19 September, we’re opening up the studio for a free experimental screenprinting workshop as part of Makers’ Day by Dubai Culture at Alserkal Avenue.

We’ll be working with found transparencies, remixing images, textures and fragments, and turning them into screenprinted compositions. No fixed outcome, just making, experimenting and seeing what happens.
