WORLDVIEW insists upon creating a world consisting of local communities that can sustain themselves as well as rely on one another, to make our lives symbiotic, our relationships - conscious and supportive.

Community-centered life organization is a way out of overproduction, overconsumption, overstimulation and exploitation. A way to create ground for putting the human before the system; the ecosystem before the system.

Creating worldviews and living them is the only way out of the monopolised reality.

By definition, epistemology is the theory of knowledge, especially with regards to its methods, validity and scope, and the distinction between justified belief and opinion.

I use this term as “way of knowing”, meaning how this theory of knowledge shapes our reality and ideology. Therefore, I put this term as one higher than ideology, as a baseline to ideology, because epistemology extends beyond a certain ideology. It becomes a symbolic order that has been appropriated and has shaped different ideologies which, nonetheless, exist within the same scope of a particular way of knowing.

Currently I speak about the colonial epistemology, for example, which I also call the war epistemology. This colonial way of knowing reshaped the epistemologies of colonized places thus making the colonial seem as inherent.

When one becomes disconnected from their land, from their ecosystem, or when one is born, already inhibiting that disconnection inside of them, one inherits an uprooted relationship with life, a colonial relationship with life. Without a connection to the land one is on, one begins to treat it with neglect, as a commodity. And the “civilized” world is the one that offers precisely that: exploitation.

Disconnection fosters a surface-level connectivity, upon which colonial relationships are formed. And decolonising would mean eradicating exactly this exploitation and replacing it with connection.

Systems are substitutes for ecosystems. Returning to land will return us to our ecosystems. The variety and diversity of systems that we should implement to manage our lives are already preserved in the land we stand on — land speaks, and we should become wise enough to stop and listen.

This is the core of #landback . Apart from freeing the lands from colonial occupation, returning them to indigenous peoples, to the peoples whose ecosystem those lands represent. And who, since ancient times, have been listening to the land and carry the Land’s wisdom within their own bodies.

This age should be the age of people returning back to their identities: to the identities that have been lost, scattered, to the connectivity that has been disembodied and dismantled.

The “flat earth effect” is due to this exact disruption and cultural deprivation, cultural erasure, and disconnection from land. Disconnection from land is a very destructive phenomenon, a colonially implied phenomenon. Which targets, erases, and controls deep connectivity, deep knowing. Knowing that is given through the connection with land, by the land, and when it is controlled or erased, or diminished, one becomes extremely disconnected from life, both emotionally and by practice.

So this erasure and disconnection disconnects us from the ecosystem. Our practices become destructive instead of nourishing, and our experience becomes destructive instead of life-preserving.

While traumatised disembodied men create artificial hells and try to erase humanity from the face of earth…

As the system continues to shove its war epistemology down our collective throats, to what point will we continue living by its rules? How does radical non-compliance look like? Or soft non-compliance?

Let’s envision our futures. Not as distant ideas but as concrete actions that can be done in the present moment. I believe that the greatest form of resistance is presence. Therefore, in what ways can we recreate our present?
