I wish I could go back and hug you.

You had no idea how much life was going to change. You had no idea how many times your heart would break, how many people you’d lose, or how many times you’d have to start over.

I wish I could tell you that you never needed to be ashamed of who you were. You never needed to hide the parts of yourself that made you different.

You were never too much. You were never not enough.

I’m sorry for all the times you thought you had to become someone else to be loved.

I hope you’d be proud of the person we became. We’re still figuring it out. We still get scared. We still make mistakes.

And somehow, through all of it, we never stopped becoming.

So keep dreaming, little one. Keep that big heart. Keep being you.

I’ve got you now. 💕 taken in Dear Younger Me, by @thewrighttimothy

Dj set I did back in June. So I finally decided to upload it to SoundCloud. A few minor mishaps lol but take a listen.
