Weezer!! Second time seeing them live. First time was at Riot Fest 2014 and they played the Blue Album in full. Thought that would be peak but they played so many songs off Pinkerton (the best album) and Maladroit so I was so ecstatic.

Was too ill to post yesterday but here are some highlights from Wednesday's Weezer: The Gathering tour. Opening acts Silversun Pickups and The Shins, both bands I've always wanted to see so this was great!

Another great night of face-melting live music! This time brought to us by my hometown hero, Iggy Pop, and the lords of emo theater kids, My Chemical Romance.

Iggy was chosen by MCR to rep Detroit specifically, and while I don't know if the younger crowd was into it, but their Dad's and I certainly were. I've seen Mr. Pop three times now, and that old leathery skinned shirtless man still rocks.

MCR was fantastic and over the top as one would expect. Theatrics, pyrotechnics and all sort of wild imagery complimented their glam rock inspired performance. I always liked them but was too much of a hipster to admit it back in high school. So here's to making up for lost time.
@joyandmoe absolutely loved seeing them live, too. Another great show memory for us!

Went to Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age last night. Decided to buy tickets and go less than 2 hours before the show! Even convinced @joyandmoe to go!

Turned out to be an absolutely killer decision. QotSA rocked and Foo Fighters were phenomenal. Dave Grohl is a cool s.o.b. and it's nice to check off these titans of rock on the seen it live list. My first time at Ford Field too, to my recollection.

I'm trying to take less shitty pics and videos of bands I see but old habits die hard so here's a few.

Second tattoo in my idea of video game characters x album covers
Tom Nook (Animal Crossing) with Nirvana - Nevermind
AC is a big part of my life, especially with Joyce. It's brought us closer together and comforted me during hard times. Nevermind is a huge influence on me (shocking. I know) so the light bulb went off for this idea awhile ago and I've only now committed it to my skin forever haha.

Post show tour shirts on photo. What an explosive night. My first time seeing Jack White was a monstrous success, all thanks to my awesome family. Thanks for a wonderful birthday, great start to 38!

HAPPY ENDING: Earlier this year we noticed a sort of bump on Bowser's nose. After normal vet visits and medication did not seem to improve it, we had to get further diagnostic tests. To our absolute dismay, it was shown to be a cancerous growth. The best option was radiation therapy. Thankfully, successful therapy with minimal side effects is common.

So after what seemed like an incredibly long and stressful period, I can confirm that Bowser has completed his therapy and we are already seeing and hearing improvements in his breathing and behavior! I can confidently and Thankfully claim that Bowser is a CANCER SURVIVOR.

Joyce and I would like to thank those who knew of our struggles these past few months for the love and support given to us and our big bear. It means the world to us. We especially are grateful to the various Doctors and their teams for helping us every step of the way during this scary time. One positive to take away from all of this is that Bowser made a lot of new friends and put a huge smile on so many people's faces!

Thank you again, everyone, even for just reading this post. Joyce isn't really on FB/Messenger anymore but I'll relay and comment here or message sent to her.

Many more pictures of Bowser to come for a long time!

P.S. get your pets insurance if you are able to. Literal Lifesavers! @lemonade_inc was one of the smartest decisions we've ever made. by @thewrongshaun

10 years ago i went to #motorcitycomiccon and got to meet Jon Bernthal and Eldon Henson, aka The Punisher and Foggy Nelson from Daredevil.

Now I've finally gotten to meet the Devil of Hell's Kitchen himself, Charlie Cox, aka Matt Murdock.
Along with my awesome family: Uncle @emorton2070 and cousin @conner__morton

We had a blast and I'll upload more memories when I'm not absolutely tired but this was a helluva good day. taken in suburban collection showplace Novi, Mi 48374 by @thewrongshaun

Finished this last weekend but neglected to post. Latest LEGO build: The classic 1960's Batman TV series Batmobile.

Definitely a tough build for me but what a beauty. I finally own my dream car, in a way!

Thinking about putting together a whole "batcave" display full of various batmobiles and other vehicles but uhhh i kinda gotta get more display cases to live that dream. by @thewrongshaun
