Hi Instagram, it's been awhile. Unfortunately this past September my mom's dog, Chappy, fell ill and passed away. Not entirely sure of the cause but it was something internal as he became lethargic and crossed the rainbow bridge in my mom's arms in his final hour. First image is my favorite photo of him, the other two were from his first day here being adopted shortly after the pandemic started. Losing a pet is rough, losing two in 1.5 years is grief I never want to experience or for anybody else for that matter. Always cherish the ones you love while you can, you never know when their time on this planet is up.

As for me, I've basically been living like a recluse on top of pre-existing depression (mostly why I sorta stopped taking photos). Not only that, I recently turned 39 last month and I've not been dealing well with it internally. At least I can finally make this post without being a complete wreck.

Much like Jagger, I hope he and Chappy can forgive me when it's my time. I love them both dearly and they are both tremendously missed. ♥♥ by @thexsmootx

Lost a very good friend and companion today. Jagger was an outdoor cat that a former neighbor owned until I moved in with my mom in 2017 where he practically adopted me on sight. He not only quickly became an indoor cat, but a member of the family. Jagger was such a great cat who was full of life, a foodie to where he wanted to eat everything that I ate, and a protector of the house to fend off mice as well as keeping other outside animals at bay. We had a great 7 years together and I'm guilt-ridden that it wasn't longer.

On his final day when we drove to the clinic to put him down, there was a gorgeous sunset when we were arriving to the place and the depleting sunset upon leaving after the deed was done, it all felt oddly apropo. I'm gonna terribly miss you buddy.

This Thanksgiving I'm thankful for everyone in the past 7 years of me streaming on Twitch, whether it be friends or strangers, that have helped me fund a new computer that I got back in September. It's been a tumultuous journey to say the least that started when I would co-pilot and help out MrKravin on Twitch many many moons ago. Despite our differences and him now hating my guts, he's what kicked me off into streaming and was very generous to me into upgrading my Lenovo IdeaCentre PC (which they don't even make anymore) that I saved up for after a ton of lawncutting while also providing some free games from time-to-time (One of which is DBD)

Shortly afterwards I needed a roof over my head, I wind up in Georgia where I stayed with strangers who were...let's just say they would've been happier had I been something they envisioned me to be versus something that I'm not. The good times were good and the bad times were something I don't want to revisit. It was a gamble for both parties that didn't pay off but I hope they are doing well with their lives and I appreciate them letting me stay in their home while I was trying to "get my hours in", despite being a burden to them for 6 months.

After that I'm now in the middle of nowhere, South Dakota since April of 2017 which was also when the Affiliate program kicked off. I treated that as a sign that not only hard work does indeed pay off but I'm at least on the right track. There's been a lot of detractors these past 7 years - some of which I've touched upon - but this is something I've at least wanted to do for myself after so many people said I couldnt do it, didn't believe in me, or whatever shortsighted opinion they had of me. Life's about sacrifices and I sacrificed A LOT to get this new PC.

Again thank you, Happy Thanksgiving, and thanks to @xidaxpcs for building my rig despite not having enough HDMI slots. Maybe an upgrade down the road? Not an ad but check em out if you need a new PC or Laptop. by @thexsmootx

Here's another batch of AI covers and remixes going up on the channel (HOPEFULLY) this week. I know AI's not everybody's cup of tea (understandably so) but I'm pleasantly surprised how much people have been enjoying some of these tunes.

I don't have a witty tagline for this one, kinda outdid myself with the whole bops and bangers line from last time.

Tinkering around with various AI tools to produce bops and bangers from slop and clankers. You can find these AI remixes and others on my personal YouTube, link at the end of the video. I wanted to post something for that Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Theme but time slipped away from me so this was the next best option. Video was made by me but the visuals and tunes were done in AI.

Also haven't checked in on IG in awhile (I'm really bad at that), I'm personally struggling with things but hanging in there and alive I guess.

One of the things to take my mind off stuff recently is seeing what all hubbub is about with AI. GPT was a solid shoulder to lean on to talk mental health stuff to me, up until they overly enforced safety guardrails in Oct 2025 with it, and now it can't accurately verbalize to you how many R's are in the word "Strawberry". In the past 9 months'ish of usage, I can honestly say that AI as a whole is pretty stupid and not as smart as the facade everyone props it up to being.

Point is I wound up using AI for image tasks, some for thumbnails for the Twitch VOD channel and some for personal interests. One of those interests is game shows. Here is a small sampling of what I made/upscaled using Google Flow and its...*sighs*... Nano Banana technology, to breathe life into some old game shows. They're not perfect obviously, but they do a good job of looking great and way better than anything I could crank out of Photoshop. These will be paired with AI renditions of different genres of music (in case you're wondering why the Gauntlet of Villains are in a rock band) from Suno and will be up...whenever I get the courage to post these (Claude's unironically helping me boost my confidence with). And yes, blah blah $900 RAM, water this water that. With peace and love, I don't care.

Today marks 1 year since I've lost my best friend Jagger. His presence has been missed every day. I don't think I'll ever have solace on your passing and still feel guilt-ridden that you're no longer here. When it's my time, I just hope you can forgive me. I love you buddy. by @thexsmootx

Here's a highlight from the RE4 Remake playthrough that I wanted to share of Leon struggling to throw a grenade (just like in the original)

This week as of this posting I'll be playing RE: Village (the one with Lady BigWife) for the first time on Twitch, before delving back into DBD.

Also also, this is my first ever short that I've ever had to edit since shorts/stories became a thing with internet culture. My video editor is so old, I had to save a template for it.

Happy Nov 1st! Tried the recent batch of seasonal soda flavors

-Mountain Dew VooDew 6.0 tasted like Grape Laffy Taffy for me at the time, but has since been revealed as "Pink Fruit Candy" which to me insinuates a Strawberry somethingorother. The Wiki says it's like a pink starburst which is WILD to me cause it doesn't taste like a strawberry at all. Not bad either way if you can still get your hands on a can.

-Shirley Temple 7up was a bit of a surprise. I love Cherry but don't really mess with Pomegranate at all so I was a bit of a skeptic before trying this one. Overall it has a pleasant taste and compared to Coca-Cola's bullshit of "spicing" their flavors (Coke Spiced which was pulled from shelves, Sprite Chill which had a weird minty aftertaste, they've ruined the Cranberry Sprite flavor cause of this technique which OG Cranberry Sprite was TREMENDOUS) instead of just flavoring it normally, this one is a top-tier gimmicked lemon-lime soda flavor for me because you actually taste the flavors, instead of "spice".

-Fanta "Haunted Apple" was a bit of a surprised. Despite the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice branding which I like the striped can design, I was expecting nice fruity flavor since Fanta USED to make an apple flavored soda years ago that I missed out on. Instead, this is more of like a cinnamon-y apple where the cinnamon-y taste overpowers any sort of apple flavor there might be and at times feels like I'm drinking a Yankee Candle. It wasn't too bad but much like almost anything Fanta related, not something I would willingingly pick up again.

Last night we got Jagger's remains, big shout out to the Resting Pawz folks for going above and beyond as well as having the upmost empathy & respect with the whole process. We'll be going there again to get Jagger's name on his urn and I'd like to get his Twitch emote as a sticker for it too, when financially and emotionally more stable.

This whole endeavor has been nagging me (which is part of why I feel so guilt-ridden) but if you have pets, please spend as much time and love with em as you can. You never know when tomorrow could be their final time in this existence.

Jagger, I forever love you and I hope our spirits cross again so that you could forgive me for all of this happening. I'm so sorry buddy. 🖤 by @thexsmootx

Happy Easter! Couple weeks ago I went to Sam's Club for the first time. Wound up with a 105 piece Dove Chocolate bag. Each wrapper has a message to make you feel better, but the first message here seems a little backhanded. Others mean well but come off corny such as "Everyone has a happy ending, if you're not happy it's not the end" or something punny like "Be(YOU)tiful". Anyway, I wound up with another, yet slightly smaller, bag of it's spring time mix. If there's any other messages worth passing along, I'll let you know. by @thexsmootx

Paid way too much for the new @MountainDew Baja Flavors at Dollar General because multiple Safeways near me have been slacking on the new flavors of soft drinks.
