No idea what day it is.

Perfect. ☀️

Coffee on deck.
Straight into the water.

Maybe we sail somewhere.
Maybe we stay right here.

Maybe someone heard about a little restaurant on the next island, so that becomes the plan.

Until someone comes up with a better one.

That’s pretty much how the week goes.

Swim. Sail. Stop somewhere beautiful. Do absolutely nothing for a while. Find somewhere good to eat.

Wake up somewhere else.

Repeat. ⛵️

And somehow, seven days later, going back to normal life feels like a terrible idea.

That’s a yacht week.

The bags are packed.
The boat is still right there.
And somehow you’re supposed to just… leave?

Seven days ago it was just a yacht.

Now it’s where you had breakfast barefoot, jumped into the sea before coffee, stayed up way too late and made memories you’ll be talking about for years.

Worst part of a sailing trip?

It ends.

Until the next one. ⛵

How is it already halfway through August?

Every year, summer feels endless when it starts.

And then suddenly the evenings get a little shorter, the group chat starts talking about “after summer” and you realise you still haven’t taken that week away.

The good news?

The Mediterranean didn’t get the memo.

The water is warm. The evenings are still long. The bays are still waiting. And some of our favourite weeks to be on the water are actually still ahead.

August. September. Even well into October, depending on where you go.

So if you’ve been saying “we should really do this sometime…”

Maybe sometime is still this summer.

There’s something about ending the day at anchor.

You find a quiet bay, drop the anchor, pour something cold and watch the last light disappear behind the islands.

No restaurant reservation. No plans for the evening. No need to be anywhere else.

Just the boat, good company and that view.
We’ve had plenty of sunsets at sea, but somehow they never get old.

This is exactly why we love life on the water.

One of the biggest misconceptions about sailing?

That it's only about peace and quiet.

Yes, you'll wake up in crystal clear water and enjoy quiet mornings in hidden bays.

But some evenings are made for Hula Hula.

Every sunset, hundreds of people gather here to celebrate the end of another day in paradise. The music gets louder, the atmosphere builds and for a few hours, this is the place to be.

The best part?

Your yacht doesn't have to be in the busy harbour.

Stay on a mooring buoy or at anchor around the Pakleni Islands. Take a water taxi into Hvar for sunset, dinner or a night out, then return to your own floating home.

The next morning, while Hvar is just waking up, you're the first one diving into crystal clear water.

That's the freedom of sailing. You don't have to choose between peace and atmosphere. You get to experience both.
