Happy 1 year to new me. I guess its still me. Calvin Coolidge. Not related. I cut out booze. I cut brewskis. I cut out cold ones, didnt cut with the boys. I have an amazing partner. I have an amazing gig. I have a future to look forward to. Sobriety is scary. Its something I feared for the last 17 years. I don’t mean to pat myself on the back. But ol’ calvin would scream and yell and stomp his feet. But i like being present again. Its nice. I wouldnt reccommend it. But its working for me. I dont hate myself everyday anymore. Thats pretty cool. Anyways, tell yourself ‘I love you’ for me. Folks forget to do that. #sober #mez4prez by @theycallmemez

I know I talk about Ol’ Cal quite a bit. And man would he have lost his god damn mind today. But I saw teamwork today. I felt heard and felt seen. I felt like we beat to the same drum. Freight gremlins are diamonds in the rough. Unexplainable goblins. But when we move together oh the music it creates. Forever 172 but i’ll wander around 682 for a bit longer. #groceryfreight #pickitupandputitdown #boxgoblin by @theycallmemez

I picked a bad week to stop smoking weed. If you know me at all, you know calvin is weed. Ive been smoking weed for 15 years. I never thought i’d quit cuz why would I? I’m in alot of weird pains. My body is recovering from a bug. I quit caffeine. I just picked a horrendous week to do so. Its mirroring stroke symptoms. Cant sleep. Cant eat. I’ve been crying at the drop of a hat. Emotional. Angry. I hvent been sober in 15 years. Maybe more. There waa rarely a day if hours I wasnt stoned. Keep pushing forward. I’ve joked and jested that i’m a warrior. I guess its time to prove it. Cant stop now. This is bat country. #sober by @theycallmemez

I am 8 months sober from alcohol. I missed to the day because i’m not as concerned. Calvin cognac lives in memory. What a wild kid. Filled with wreckless abandon But sometimes superman can just be clark kent. And i have to remember that sometimes. Thanks for the continuing support. by @theycallmemez

Vibing at work. Benjamin Button type feel. I’m learning to love myself more and treating myself better. It’s reflected everywhere. It’s been a hoot to be honest. I’m excited for the future instead of afraid of it. #mez4prez by @theycallmemez

Its a tough night for the gremlins. A few cheeseballs and a red bull keeping me from snapping. But I take solace knowing a few things. A) im a warrior. B)i can hork the energy of life like cocaine C) 172 didnt make me a child. It made me a man who doesnt have to let it all fall down because of some ish. Do the job. Get home. I’m still screaming and crying. But its inspirational, not inhibitive. Stay class kids. by @theycallmemez

Update. I guess. I’m 6 months off of booze and beer. Almost 7! I’m awake at gremlin hours cooking an entire pack of seriously thick cut bacon, smangin’ some dishes, food preparing (ease of access for the fresh throw together. ((Its really just a burrito assembly line)) ) i’m managing my mental health. I’m coping with stress. I’m taking the bus ( most of the time). I’m happy. As i sip this entire packet of hotcocoa mix into my single kcup 6 oz cup of coffee, i think back the the kid drinking these in san francisco. I wish i could warn him. But he wouldnt listen. He’da gone harder. Two stroke two furious. But finally my mind is somewhat at peace. I like the life i’m creating. It took a tremendous amount of effort for the people who loved me to take care of baby calvin. Now I hope to give it back. Anywho, toodaloo. Thanks for stopping in. #mez4prez Also, songs a bop. The irony isnt lost on me. by @theycallmemez

Lifes been good lately. #mez4prez by @theycallmemez

I had a stroke 4 months ago. Am on my last day of my first week back at work. I’m a warrior. I am strength. I’m healing. No booze or beer for 120+ days. They still aint smokin till we showed up but i have been ensconsed in my personal growth. I believe in myself. I love myself. Find what you love and chase it. by @theycallmemez

I got to see @taylortomlinson today on a whim. Lucky me! Thank you @zach.o_92 and @kaijalinnea for an amazing evening! by @theycallmemez

This was my first outing since my stroke. It was a lovely 1/2 days of baseball I have planned! The city struck me so differently. Im usually a 20 oz mixed drink or two in to the busride alone. More brews to pregame and then Atleast 1-2 at the park. Not being smashed made me fall head over heels in love with the energy that is a big city. A single beating heart. I also rented my first lime scooter! I was speed. We’ll do it all over again tomorrow!! Shoutout danzel washington and rise @tmatsche24 @danirosepnw 🔥🔥🔥 by @theycallmemez
