Where would I be without my Lord and Savior?
I’ve been through endless trials and tribulations in my 17 years of life and although it never gets easier, I get stronger. With God all things are possible. Im his daughter and his creation. I am fearfully and wonderfully made in his image. In the name of Jesus I am baptized and born again. All Glory To You Jesus.

My definition of being Willing.And.Able. Year 3.
Every year, when the time for me to serve comes around I find myself in a physical or mental battle of some sort. I’ve decided to call it the “Worship through the Wound” theory. The Lord calls us to be obedient and faithful servants despite the pain and struggles that might be in the way of that obedience. Before camp this year I was told that one of the most inspiring and influential people in my life had passed away. I had the option to A-stay home, bed rot, and let the enemy deprive me of getting to see the goodness that comes from following the Lords path for me or B-even through tear stained cheeks travel to Ocklawaha, FL, smile, and be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ for middle school kids that needed it. If you know me you know I choose option B and I am so beyond happy that I did. Although it wasn’t easy, everyday it felt lighter to carry because I was in the presence of the Lord. Project serve is one of the most rewarding challenges that as a Christian you can put yourself through. You’re not only tired physically but mentally as well, that’s when it’s up to you to give into the enemy and say “I can’t anymore” or pray and ask the Lord for strength and the will to keep pushing. The reward isn’t money, it’s not praise and it’s not even the community service hours you receive. The reward is the bonds you make, it’s seeing a kid come in covered by darkness and leave in light, it’s showing a middle schooler that you love them because Jesus loved them first. Despite their sins, despite their mistakes or despite the enemy saying they’re not. I had two of my boys of the table I served tell me they said yes to Jesus and in that moment, I felt the struggle of getting out of bed with body aches and a heavy heart, so much less. That is what “Worshiping through the Wound” is.
I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every memory, smile, hug, and conversation had at camp this year filled my heart with love that I didn’t know I was yearning for.
Can’t wait to do it all again next year🤙🏽
