It Takes A Village Update 🌍

Because of the generosity of our donors, Message To The Young World coloring books and crayons have reached children in Tanzania.

Some received them in classrooms. Some at an orphanage. Some during moments of medical care and recovery.

For some of these children, this was their very first time seeing crayons and coloring books — their first time holding them, using them, and experiencing the joy of creating with color.

That is impact.

Real impact. Real children. Real joy.

Thank you to everyone who helped carry this mission from an idea, to a suitcase, to Tanzania, and into the hands of young people who now have something of their own to read, color, and enjoy.

This village is real. And because of you, it is growing.

The Young World Foundation was in San Francisco this week attending the Grow with @google #AI Workshop as part of our ongoing research and planning for the Young World Tech Tour.

We believe every young person deserves exposure to the technologies shaping the future. Events like this help us learn from industry leaders, explore best practices, and identify opportunities to connect underserved youth with AI, innovation, and career pathways.

One of our biggest takeaways was the power of hands-on learning. The future isn’t something young people should simply hear about—they should experience it.

We’re excited about what’s ahead as we continue building the Young World Tech Tour.
